NOMINATE THE LEGEND OF ZELDA LINK'S AWAKENING I find it funny that our only Zelda nom (so far) comes from the Game Boy version. However, I also find that INCREDIBLY AWESOME! Still, although I haven't listened to this for a while, I suspect there might be a few better choices. For one, I think the end credits are pretty darn good. If I could find a youtube video that had only the end music without the crap with talking to the owl and the wind fish first, I'd love to add that to my playlist. If I get around to it, I might go back and make suggestions. Support: VVVVV (though it obviously has enough support already) Additional votes determine seeding, so they do help. Don't hold back just because a game is popular. Unimportant question, since I didn't nominate anything yesterday, is that day's nomination lost forever? I'm assuming yes, You get one per day, so yes, unless you can make it Thursday again. I'm putting it from worst-to-best because that's the spirit of the contest. 'Stacking' songs like that to give your pet soundtrack an undeserved win over a much better soundtrack, only for it to get wrecked later, is pretty lame. I'm not specifically encouraging people to do it one way or the other, nor do I think that either method should be frowned upon. You should be picking songs in the order you believe gives your game the best chance of going most deeply into the tournament. By virtue of a perfect storm of song order, we might end up with an unlikely champion, and frankly I'm ok with that. If (insert your favorite OST here) loses in round 1 because they used their 7/10 song there and held back on their 9+ songs, while a game snuck by with an 8/10 in round 1 and couldn't sustain any farther, well, good for that game -- it got as far as it was going, but it maximized its potential. Tamaranch) - Overworld - Koholint Ballad of Life - Staff Roll - Southern Shrine - Ending - (better than basic Ballad) Mysterious Woods - Song of Awakening - Player Select ZELDA - Color Dungeon - IMO, use the top 3, consider the middle 3, and at least look at the bottom 3. Well, I don't have any problems with Nimbus (although I'm not sure it would make my own Top 7), it's just something I'm not sure the board would take too well! ALSO I am considering switching the placements of Annul and Scrap IO with each other too, I think that might make more sense. Annul and Scrap IO are basically tied for me in terms of my favorite Neotokyo song, so I don't really have a preference. Based solely on VGMC5, I'd have to say Annul is probably more liked, if only because it made the field, but I really don't think you could go wrong with either.
