And holy crap Dogmeat is killing now. He might be one of the strongest in the field, since I'd have to imagine Geno is stronger than some of the other fodder who are getting tripled.

I had Navi losing. She's supposed to be hated, and Servbot is a lovable little guy. Servy losing so badly spells bad things for Mega Man in general (imo).

There's good news and bad news for my bracket this afternoon. The good news: Athena and Elika are winning their matches now, Einstein and Launchpad are still holding on, Dog's poised to win over Frog, and I once again have reason to be confident in Dogmeat > Agro.

The bad news: my bracket still has Companion Cube winning. >______> Seriously, what's up with the Cube here? It's sucking ass!

Cube isn't nearly as fresh as it once was. That's why I went with Alyx - she's just a timelessly great character. Cube/Epona is shaping up to be something special, OH YEAH.

Though the jokes about Cube aren't as fresh, I still figured a lot of people had really fond memories of it - I mean, just about everyone agrees that it was Portal's defining moment. But yeah, I'm not even sure if Cube can even beat Epona anymore.

Right now, I'm leaning towards Garrus or Dogmeat winning. They seem like the strongest characters that have potential rallies up their sleeves - nobody's gonna rally for Nintendo, and I'm not getting my hopes up for another Valve rally.

For what its worth, I first checked Dogmeat an hour ago and he was at 73%... now hes at 75.6%

With 15k+ votes now, its unnatural to jump that far in an hour unless you have people rallying for you, I'd think... or maybe Genos ASV is just that bad.

For the record, I'd be totally cool with Dogmeat winning. Garrus would be okay too, but Dogmeat would actually be a pretty awesome champion - who could possibly complain if he won?

Also, while nobody was looking, Tails became arguably the most impressive-looking character of the round. Poor Globox is getting annihilated.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Yoshi and Otacon are underperforming a bit. Luke and (especially) Johnson should be two of the weakest characters in the bracket.

Has 4chan thrown in the towel? If they're not consistent with their rallying and/or cheating, Launchpad and Einstein will likely lose. Their opponents have already made huge comebacks in less than a day.

No need to rally until Launchpad and Einstein are actually losing. Hopefully by that time Launchpad will have an unrecoverable deficit and they'll be forced to focus all attention on Einstein.

Einstein is actually losing a lot less ground than Launchpad by the way. In fact it seems like Falco's only cut like 100 votes off of his peak lead, whereas Launchpad has lost over 500.

I saw Epona's high to be 89% and her low to be 56%. The match's overall-accuracy is now kaput, but Epona was definitely rallied against at one point.

Bub and Bob and General RAAM didn't beat most of their opponents by very much in the previous contests. 4chan probably kicks into gear again if it gets close.

I doubt the characters who had that initial 4chan support and have lost their leads despite that are going to get them back, though. Which probably leaves just those two matches and Wakka/Lucca as still in contention. Maybe Moogle can pull a comeback if the night votes are kind to him, he doesn't seem to be dying off as quickly as the others. And I guess we should never count Frog out. >_>

I have Moogle winning two rounds. Even if he comes back here, which is doubtful, he's D.O.A. against Cortana. Of course, Launchpad is the biggest question mark for me. I have him losing to Zero (and then have Zero all the way in the final four). I hope Zero is legitimately stronger than Price and blitzes out to a lead; if that actually happens, I won't feel too badly about the rest of my bracket.

If Launchpad wins here, I have a tough time seeing him losing the next two matches since he'll have some steam already... it comes down to Tails then. Tails seems like he's actually pretty strong on Gamespot, unlike Gamefaqs. But Launchpad will also have quite a bit of steam by that point.

Will be an interesting match. If he beats Tails and somehow Dogmeat beats Luigi (Dogmeat has strength and Luigi is public enemy #1 to 4chan, so if anyone will beat Luigi up to that point, its probably Dogmeat. Alyx has a chance of making it to Launchpad, but they hate her too), I wonder how that'll go. Dogmeat isn't the kinda character I can see them all rallying against to beat "cuz of the lols". He isn't a big name like a Tails or Luigi would be.
