There's a very strong likelihood that, by the time you're 35 (or older), you won't really care whether or not the girl you're with can get into bars, because bars won't be a major part of your life.

I'm 27. Even if I wanted to follow the age/2+7 calculation, which'd come to 20.5, I don't know if I would. Probably if she was 21, since 21 is legal drinking age here. Go on a date, have some fun. Dunno where to go from there.

I'd prefer to either go 23-32.

At 33 years old, too young for me. It isn't the gap that's the issue it is the different perspective of life that might be an issue. I am not against dating a 46-47 year old as we might share a more similar perspective of life but with a 19-20, it would simply be too different.
