After a visit to a snow playground I learned that I feel most awake and fresh at around 12 C (53 F). Cozy.

What about you?

45-55 F for me.

Pretty much perfect. Not too cold, but not hot at all.

Are we talking indoors or outdoors? Because you say room temperature, but I don't think an AC could bring your house down to the low 50's in anything but the dead of winter.

Indoors, 68 is perfect for me.

This is true. Indoors in the summer I usually aim for 65 or so.

Winter is great for me because I just open the windows. My utility bills are so low in the winter. Barely ever run the heat.

I try to be conservative with the heat in winter, but any lower than 65F is already too cold and I'm turning on the thermostat. 70F is probably the ideal.

Crazy high electricity bills everywhere in this topic

I'm happiest at around 67 but no way in hell am I blasting AC all day to achieve that year round. Usually settle in at about 74.

Nah it's ideal for me. I'm that guy and that's not even close to cold.

To be fair, I didn't read the word room when I first posted and thought it meant ideal temperature in general. It's not really practical to hit temps like that indoors in the summer so I usually aim for 65. 70+ is too warm.

Like ~72 is ideal during the day, and more like 68 at night with blankets. But we don't live in an ideal world so electric bill means 76 in the summer (thank god for ceiling fans), but still 71 in the winter since the gas bill is much more reasonable.

About 72f is ideal, but I'll usually let it drop as low as 65ish or as high as 80ish before turning on a heater or AC.

I very rarely run a heater as a result, but I do occasionally use an AC (set to like 77) in summer.

My ideal indoor temperature is about 70 or 71. But that would be a waste of energy so i settle for 74 in the summer and 67 in the winter.

Outdoor temperature should be 65 all the time

IT DEPENDS ON HOW MANY CLOTHES I'M WEARING

also how much physical activity i'm getting

i can't remember the specific number, but somewhere in the high 60s/low 70s is that magic range where i can't sense the air if it's not blowing. it's a strange and pleasant experience.

Man, I worked for someone who kept it at 66 and I shivered the entire time, so I ended up leaving a blanket and jacket at work so I didn't constantly freeze. I barely waver from season to season, 72 in the winter and 74 in the summer.

66-70 in winter, 68-72 in summer, I need it cold when sleeping though (55-60). Anything warmer than 74 is tough for me at any time of day and it's unbearable at night.

And?

See my third post in this topic where I say I didn't read room at first and just read ideal temperature. I'm well aware it's not feasible to get it that cold indoors via AC, but you best believe if it's 40-50 out I'm opening all the windows and basking in it.

Winter: 72F but still feel cold and usually keep a space heater nearby (also I take it down to 68 while sleeping)

Summer: 76 or 77F but crank it down to 71F while sleeping

I've never heard of anyone going below like 65, I'm shocked that's possible to survive in

I lived in a place where that wasn't abnormal on the ground floor, and the place was so old there was no central air.
