Well granted I'm not totally sold cause I don't really watch FCW. But like, his Smackdown promos are entertaining and have probably been the best part of the show lately.

But I'm pretty much a sucker for guys who debut with a series of promo vignettes by default.

I can't remember the last one outside of Kizarny that I didn't think "hell yeah this guy is awesome" for. Unless you count Jericho's since the "payout" to that was pretty disappointing... don't really count that cause it was a return and not a debut, and meant (?) to be disappointing, though.

From Yoshi's Twitter

As of today, I am planning to post several tweets regarding my thoughts and feelings toward Lord Tensai.

First of all, I have a strong reason why I must defeat Lord Tensai. As in my Japanese lesson, "tensai" means natural disaster.

As everyone knows, Japan experienced a major earthquake and tsunami on March 11th of last year.

More than 15,000 people lost their lives, over 5,000 people are still missing, and more than 5,000 people were injured.

In addition, over 130,000 people lost their homes. Sadly, the recovery has been very slow.

Many people are still living in temporary housing, without jobs.

Moreover, the Japanese people haven't been able to recover from the grief of losing family members, including children who lost their parents.

Out of respect, I strongly urge Lord Tensai to change his name.

As Japanese superstar of WWE, I cannot tolerate him using this name during Japanese appearance.

Even though he is tremendously big and very strong, I will defeat him someday.

Japan was defeated by natural disasters – “TENSAI”. And I, Yoshi Tatsu is the one who defeats that “TENSAI”.

When I beat him, I will make him change his name. This is #YoshiRevolution Episode 1.

I can't remember how reliable PWInsider.com is, but...

Following the Extreme Rules PPV on Sunday, there was a huge backstage blow-up involving Brock Lesnar.

According to several sources, Lesnar lost it on a number of WWE officials and began ripping apart a dressing room, upset over the John Cena promo that closed the PPV.

The original plan was for Cena, despite winning, to be so beaten that he was carried out of the building, leaving an opening for Lesnar to brag that while he had lost the battle on a fluke, he had won the war.

When Cena decided to address the audience, Lesnar perceived it as Cena double crossing him and lost in on WWE officials. It's not yet known how they calmed him down, but tonight's angle with HHH was planned in advance as a way to remove Lesnar from TV.

Sources within the company have indicated that Lesnar's current deal only requires him to work two dates minimum.

great show, great signs (#PUSHMCINTYRE, BORK LAZER, REKS & HAWKINS), great dueling chants

Sheamus/Bryan > Punk/Jericho > Cena/Brock

I'm usually the first to believe everything is real, but I generally think if it happens on the air, its more planned, so I never thought the Brock stiff shots were unplanned

So a pretty good Raw all things considered. Cena vs Johnny has story potential, and was a nice swerve because I don't think anybody really wanted Cena vs Tensai. I have to admit though, I was hoping Brock would run out from the back and annihilate Tensai and he would be the opponent. That could've been an interesting way to go, with Johnny basically telling Cena that Brock will continue to stiff the hell out of him at every PPV until he's gone for good. Probably something like that will happen anyway and this is just some kind of diversion. Like Brock will be the special referee, or Johnny won't be medically cleared and Brock will be the emergency replacement, or something.

Man what burying Tensai now when he has a chance to be their first credible monster heel in god knows when is like, the worst possible thing they could do. Tensai vs. Cena on PPV would be good stuff.

Also raw was pretty zzz the matches all kinda sucked and the ending was the only alright thing -- DBD winning thE title shot was cool but didn't do a lot for -that- episode. And even then I think the LORD winning it would have been as cool or cooler.

The rule of The Man Championship, good sir:

"To be the man, you have to beat the man!"

Del Rio failed to beat Edge. Edge remained The Man. Edge, sadly, had to retire unbeaten but still The Man.

You can't just have the title of "The Man" decided in a match between two guys who have no right to it! That's like Jim Duggan finding the TV title in the trashcan. Such an act devalues the title and undermines the premise!

I've gone over this before. The Man Championship was first brought into place when Ric Flair, one of the most important wrestlers of his era, declared himself The Man. Years later, the title's lineage came to an end with Edge's retirement, bringing an end to that line of Man lineage and leaving us without a man. A few months later, CM Punk, one of the most important wrestlers of his era, declares John Cena, the most important wrestler of his era, is "The Man," right before their hugely important WWE Championship match. If that doesn't constitute starting a new lineage, then nothing short of Edge coming out of retirement long enough to lay in the ring while someone pins him will satisfy you.

I direct your attention to The Ring World Championship in boxing. It's a title awarded by a boxing publication. Not one of boxing's governing bodies, just a magazine. And yet it's the most prestigious title in the boxing world. The rules for it are pretty much exactly like the rules for The Man Championship, too. The only way to become The Ring Champion of your weight class is to beat The Ring Champion of your weight class. There's no title fee or anything like that, it's just any match between The Ring Champion and someone in his weight class. Further, there are only three ways for The Ring Champion to lose his title: lose a match, move into another weight class, or retire. The only two ways to win The Ring Championship are either to beat The Ring Champion, or in the case of a vacant Ring Championship, win a match between the Number One and Number Two ranked fighters in that weight class (or sometimes between Number One and Number Three).

So that's how I personally see The Man Championship, with the exception being that since the title was started by a declaration by Ric Flair, it can be awarded in a similar way in the case of a vacancy. And that is how the website is going to continue to handle the championship, dissenters be damned.
