Hes better than like Davey Richards, Roderick Strong, and Eddie Edwards to be sure because he can at least you know work a crowd but the way he does it just annoys the crap out of me. The big difference between him and Punk is Punk actually looks like he belongs on this level and Bryan still looks like he belongs in the indies and it really does just prevent me from buying him. Even other small guys have had something that set them apart. Michaels, Guerrero, Jericho, even Benoit all have something that make them look like something other than "Player 2." Even the "charisma" stuff that people like about him, the YES and excessive celebration only seem enjoyable on an ironic level. And maybe that's how some of you view it, I dont know for sure. And if so more power to you, whatever. but it does bug me. To top it off seeing him in Main Event title angles with lots of screentime feels like something out of a Raw vs Smackdown Career mode back when they had to tailor it to your guy having a self insert personality. And to see him so emphasized while other people I really like languish in the midcard just makes me bitter. The overcelebration gimmick is great because originally it was just to rub it in Cole's face, and because everyone basically thought "it's not going to last, let him have his moment". And then he kept doing it. And he kept winning. And winning. And celebrating. Couple that with the title going to his head and you have a nicely built, slow heel turn which worked perfectly and made sense.

To bring out some rare disagreeances with edwards from me I actually think Bryan's look is fine. He's a tad short but he doesn't look like an indy jobber imhhho. Hell I think Punk has more of a problem with not looking like a star (though I don't think he's too bad off-- but I actually think AJ Styles for instance has more star power than him from looks alone at this point) with his lack of physique and greasy ass slicked hair.
