The only reason I could think you might be making a "huge mistake" is that SHIMMER's... not the most interesting promotion. It's got most of the best American female talent, but... If you're new to SHIMMER, I'd just suggest you maybe cut your purchase in half to make sure it's for you. If you're not new to them and you're just asking if the last four volumes are good? And we're starting off with a Florida Tag Team Title Match with The Rotundos (c) vs Antonio Cesaro & Alexander Rusev. Hey, Rusev is finally uninjured. He's pretty awesome and I missed him. Regal: The only reason I talk to my brothers is in case I want any bone marrow. Chris: Antonio Cesaro picking Alexander Rusev, of course a non-American as his tag team partner. Byron: What does it matter if he picked a non-American as his tag partner? Regal: It has nothing to do with it. Chris: Well, the way Cesaro always talks about Americans-- Regal: Aren't you a xenophobe. Such a xenophobe. Byron: Yeah, you're a xenophobe! Chris: You don't even know what that means! Byron: You don't know me. Anyway, this match was good. It was mostly Cesaro and Rusev doing the business, and they're awesome. Regal and Byron hyped the hell out of them. Of course, the Rotundos still won after Bo hit a Spear on Rusev when the ref was distracted (wait, reverse standard for Bo Rotundo!?) and then Husky got the pin. The champs retain. Next, Dean Ambrose speaks and says that FCW won't let him do anything tonight because of the mood he's been in. Hah. He says he's the best in and world, and it's not a gimmick, and he's as good as anybody else. He says he's tired of being ignored by Regal. He looks at Regal when he says that someone knows they will never beat him, and knows he will lose, and knows he knows counters to his counters, and that he will just keeps sitting at the announce table being better than he ever was. Then they stare down. Inteeeeeeense. Fantastic promo. Oh my god. OH MY GOD! THEY GAVE SETH ROLLINS A MIC! ABORT! He gives a promo about how he's wanted to be unique his entire life and thanks the crowd for liking him for him. Good god, who writes this s*? He says they can all do what they do best and tear the house down. I don't know, his voice is so terrible... and his delivery is just awkward. I think he's improved... a bit. He just had the worst material there. And now Brad Maddox is out, being accompanied by Summer Rae (Danielle Monet) and the little midgety guy. What, they give fing Rollins the mic but not Brad Maddox? What is this s*? Apparently Summer has signed Maddox to be his manager, according to Russo. It's Seth Rollins vs Brad Maddox now. Maddox is showing off a unique resthold submission. Regal calls it a Japanese Strangle Hold. Byron says that Maddox is emotionally not 100% because he lost his partner and his new partner turned on him. XD Oh man, Summer Rae is so bad. She keeps nodding, looking so fake interested, and saying "Good job." Byron: [Talking about the other important aspects of being a wrestler, career-wise] Regal: Well what are you telling me for? Byron: I'm not. I'm talking to Chris Russo. Chris: I'm over here. Byron: I don't have good eye contact. Maddox with his sick trip up and sick jaw breaker! The match continues when Seth goes for the Curb Stomp, but Summer grabs at Seth's leg from the outside. And then that random Paige chick shoves Summer over. Seth rolls out of a victory roll attempt and then Curb Stomps Maddox. Aww. Good match though. Next up is Kenneth Cameron vs Jiro. Apparently Kenneth Cameron has the longest active win streak in FCW. This is basically a squash. Kenneth finishes it with a Fisherman Brainbuster. Ow. Byron leaves the commentary table and then gets in the ring, and then hits Kenneth Cameron with a roll of quarters. His arm is fine now! Byron discusses what happened and says that he would like to announce he is still healing and his arm is 65% healed now. Regal: It just shows what kind of person you are, that you'd use a roll of quarters whereas I used brass knuckles. Regal: So this new broad I'm going out with said that she was very interested in fighting poverty. So I found a homeless person and punched them in the face. So you put three extremely green girls together in a match. You can probably figure out how this match went. Audrey hits Sofia with a swinging side slam, Audrey pins her, but Raquel tugs her back and goes for the victory roll. Then Audrey pushes out of the victory roll, making Raquel land on top of Sofia to get the win. ...F*ing yay. We have a backstage segment where Maxine and Abe are patting themselves on the back for doing a good job. Norman Smiley comes by to tell Maxine FCW President Steve Keirn wants to talk now. Abe offers Maxine encouragement... and then he sits in her GM chair. And our main event is Leo Kruger (c) vs Mike Dalton for the Florida Heavyweight Championship. Leo looks piiiiissed. Damn, why are Regal and Byron so damn good at their jobs? They put every other announcer WWE has right now to fing shame. Byron gets pissed at Chris for cutting him off to announce the commercial break. XD And then he interrupts Regal. XD Regal: [Talking about something] Chris: Mike Dalton with a huge dropkick! I'm sorry for cutting you off, William. Byron: No he's not. Regal: You're not really, are you? Dalton shoves Kruger throat-first into an exposed turnbuckle, but Leo kicks out. Kruger tries to peace out after that, but Road Dogg comes out of nowhere to force him in the ring again. Leo screams at Road Dogg, and then Dalton rolls up Leo Kruger... for the three count! WOAH! New FCW Champ! Mike Dalton is a Florida Heavyweight Champion! He literally went from jobber to Florida Heavyweight Champion in a matter of two months! Leo is losing his damn mind. Holy crap. Highlights: Dean Ambrose Promo - Seth Rollins vs Brad Maddox - Leo Kruger vs Mike Dalton - So the Dean Ambrose promo is awesome. Seth Rollins vs Brad Maddox was pretty good, and you can see how Seth Rollins' mic skills are now. And then Leo Kruger and Mike Dalton was a great match.
