Take this Sony TV: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/a8f Look at the input lag. 4k at 60Hz: 30ms 1080p at 60Hz: 47 ms 1080p at 120Hz: 21ms Does this mean that 720p content, such as all Xbox 360 and PS3 games would be something around 60-70ms input lag? Also, most video games run at 30Hz (fps) instead of 60Hz (fps). Does this mean that 4k at 30Hz would be 60ms instead of 30ms? And pretty much every xbox one/PS4 video game, 1080p at 30Hz would have 94ms lag instead of 47ms? This is very important information that the TV industry is clouding to their consumers. TVs back in the day had a constant input lag of about 15-35ms no matter what resolution you were running. I've had two touchscreen laptops - my current Dell Inspiron 7559, and I had some Acer (I think) laptop with a touchscreen at one point. Beyond showing off that I have it, I've never used the touchscreen for anything on either. (To be fair, the Acer had Windows 7 which wasn't exactly very touch-optimized.) Opening up things from the desktop is really easy during lecture since you don't want to fiddle with a mouse or touch pad. It's like they sat at headquarters and said, "Hey, lets alienate 90% of the gaming population that wants a portable computer for school, students... And not give them touch screen." I almost caved in and spent $3000 for that new Microsoft surface Pro 2, until I realized that the 1060 and CPU suck because the cooling isnt good so it suffers throttling. I've just about pulled out my hair trying to find a gtx 1060 minimum, thin laptop, with touch screen. It doesn't exist, beside the Razer Blade, which has loud fans and a giant bezel which is embarrassing in 2018 for a $2,000 laptop. At this point all I can do is hope that Razer announces a new blade with a thin bezel and better cooling system, I will buy it. It would make sense as students, who are gamers, would love the product. Look at Tony Hawks underground 2, all the crazy tricks you do.. its all about pushing limits, great storylines, crazy jumps that would never be possible. Another one: I think a couple years ago I saw a video of police asking a man to get down so they can apprehend him. He wouldn't, he kept fighting. Eventually one of the officers started choking him to the ground, and everyone kept screaming police brutality. Well... Had he just done what he was asked, this would have never happened. The ironic thing is, most of the "bad police" videos I ever see is usually the suspect being in the wrong. I literally mean most of them. I never understood why people keep crying. Look, I am a refugee.. I've gone through things that most of you never will. I grew up homeless for half of my life, I went through the minimum wage phase of working a shitty job.. I also ended up graduating college and making a lot of money. So if you think that I'm going to feel bad about some mother****er who got the short end of the stick because "they chose" to do something illegal, I just dont give a rats ass. The Genesis is a behemoth of luxury, costing around $55,000 when new. It has corner adaptive Bi xenon HID headlights, heated/cooled seats, rear sun shade, 17 speaker 7.1 Dolby surround sound (amazing sound system, only found in Rolls Royce), super quiet cabin.. A luxury car basically. But the issue, the owner claims is that: "First owner had purchased as a lemon buyback due to the auto start ignition needing to be replaced (can see this on the carfax). No issues as the second owner." Which would you buy? Just get the Accord because it's in mint condition and will drive for 200k more miles and last the next 20 years with minimal issues. Or get the Genesis which has mercedes benz luxury and convenience, and a bulletproof engine which has also been recorded to get 200k miles, but the downside is what if that person didn't maintain the engine right..
