If he can't keep innocent people safe during a conflict why is he a police officer? Dealing with criminals is part of their job. Keeping people safe is their job. He failed.

If criminals can't "not put innocent people at risk" when they roam in public, why shouldn't they be held responsible for the chaos that happens around them?

The person responsible for killing a 14 year old is actually the person who killed that 14 year old, not the other asshole who happened to be nearby.

No, I refuse to hold a police officer responsible for this because he was there against his wishes being forced to deal with a criminal. You don't think that cop would rather be chilling in his car peacefully during a silent shift? He doesn't want adversity, he doesn't want a bad situation, he's forced to go there because someone else made a horrible decision. And now the cop is under stress and also made a mistake because he probably thought the guy was armed so he shot him. 2 mistakes are made, I'm going to follow the order of chronology. Don't waste your time with them. Self entitelment to them means they can commit crimes and any horrible consequences of those actions are not their fault, it is the police's fault. My god.... The report even said "Choi said the area behind the suspect just looks like a straight wall.". The police had no idea a bystander could be there, they were trying to neutralize a threat. If it appears a straight wall is behind you, and you have to deal with a criminal, then anybody getting hurt in proximity is a textbook definition of a tragedy. Only TC would use this as a "cops are bad" excuse. How disgusting is that... Why did the cop shoot? I have no idea, but he didn't think there was anything behind a wall.

So this brings us back to a common theme. The didn't want to be there, he was there because he was forced into investigating a criminal. The criminal committing piece of shit actions now forces Police to have to arrive. Are we going to blame cops or criminals? According to TC, the criminal isn't the fault behind all this. Yes... Very intelligent. Because when leaves fall some of us don't rake leaves all day long, we look at the root of the tree, where it all begins. Criminals are the cancer of our society. I was once a victim too because I was a bystander in a location were a piece of shit human being happened to be committing horrible choices, and multiple others had to suffer.

If you have a "victim" mindset when you are creating a bad situation for yourself, you DESERVE to spend time in jail so you can reevaluate your morals. You're not the victim, if anything the police is the victim for having to deal with criminals. If it was up to the cop, they'd wish no one committed crimes.

You get labeled as a racist if you say this publicly. Because self entitled individuals are the majority of todays population, therefore they become the loudest voice. Demonize a police officer who made a horrible error, and completely ignore the criminal who disobeyed orders and tried escaping because he did not want a ticket. The sad truth is, he wouldn't be dead if he didn't try escaping. But society keeps teaching these kids that The police officers are wrong, when in reality the actions of these kids are wrong too. But only one is demonized. Thats why I stopped listening to the whole demonizing police movements that the US vocal majority have been pushing.

If he took his tickets like a man, he wouldn't be dead. But he made horrible choices to fight/escape Police and those actions had consequences. As they usually do in all of these encounters where death happens. They're not ready for that conversation. When I get pulled over by cops, I'm pissed because now I have to pay a ticket.
