Men who do this are socially inept, they struggle to impress a woman verbally, thus manifesting a character trait that makes them believe in money being the only way to win over a womans heart. Deep down the man hopes itll be something more than friends, but the woman knows it will never be therefore she is taking advantage of him. Its predatory, and vile behavior.
