I turned 36 a little while ago and I've never been on a real date yet

Don't be afraid or embarrassed to take your social media as a tool to meet people. I would stay away from applications that force you to meet strangers such as tinder, bumble, etc. But using social media to connect with familiar faces is a great weapon. I successfully achieved a date 2 years ago by friend requesting a woman that went to my university. We never met because we never had a class together. She is still my girlfriend today ^_^ So just make sure there is familiarity, you went to school together or have mutual friends, etc. Push your luck you'd be surprised. Just make sure you stay away from anything with zero familiarity, anything where strangers meet up, big no no. My opinion.

i have a lot of family in the south and they all had kids pretty young. Its a combination of nothing to do and lack of a good sexual education program.

Lack of sexual education? What a stupid statement. Everyone commenting on a 47yr old grandmother shows a lack of intelligence. Shes almost 50? Almost everyone I know had kids by the time that their parents were 50.

Example: Go to college, graduate and land huge job at 22, buy a house at 23 and get married/have kids. That very offspring also graduates college at 22, achieves good job, and within one year of just daily work, marries that girl he was with all throughout college. Result, 46 year old grandmother. What planet are you all living on? Most people get married within 3 years of graduating college. For example youre probably dating a girl in school, and after a few years of dating AFTER school, it adds up to 3-4 years and women will leave of you if you cant figure out whether you want to spend your life with them after 4 years. All my guy friends experienced the same.

I've been waiting to upgrade for years because they refuse to give us a faster USB port on the damn thing. I spent $1300 for the iPhone X and they had the audacity to put a USB 2.0 interface, aka Lightning Port. You know how long it takes to backup a 100GB phone over USB 2.0? Hours. My buddy's Android with USB-C takes minutes. I can't believe people keep funding Apple. almost a full decade their phones have been using USB 2.0.

Is your condensation pipe clear. If it's backed up, a float switch could cut power to the thermostat until it clears. So the stat will look like it's broken, then the water clears and the stat works until the water backs up again. This repeats until the clog is taken care of.

Its not backed up thankfully. I think he didnt hook up the new board properly because my air flow is weak. Idk if its possible for bad wiring to run the fan at 50% or something. I also definitely think there might be a leak somewhere. Because the pipe that carries cold air is ice cold when I put my finger on it. But once it enters that giant aluminum thing and gets shot to the house vents, it loses that icey cold temp somewhere along the line.

I just dont understand why after he replaced the board, the air blows very weak, and the air temp is mild. Why would changing the board do that? He must have broken something :(

Im not knowledgeable on HVAC, but you know even less than me. When you turn on the AC, have you ever put a reader by the fan? The air blows in the 40s if its a very quality AC. Put your hand on your car vents when youre driving, thats not 65F blowing, its about 45F. If it was blowing 60s your house or car would never cool down quick enough because the outside temperature is entering too quickly.

Trust me Im not on good terms with this guy right now. But in his defense, he didnt tell me to fix it myself. He simply said my thermostat was broken. He offered to install one. And I didnt want the cheap $120 thermostats they carry, so I went out and bought my own because I wanted a smart thermostat that saves me electricity. I didnt want 1990 technology in my home. But thats not the big issue, the bigger issue is he misdiagnosed my problem. My first smart thermostat was never broken. I bought a new one for nothing and I paid him that day for nothing

My Thermostat said no power to Rh wire. I checked everything, everything was connected properly. So I figured I had a short, so I called the professionals.

He came and was troubleshooting stuff for over an hour. He ended up saying he thought there was a blown fuse and he replaced it. Thermostat still said no power to Rh wire. He said my thermostat was bad. So he did some more stuff with the wiring, took off the thermostat, and told me to go buy a new thermostat and put it on and it will work. He also did an AC cleaning and left. Total was $300.

I go buy a new thermostat, install it myself, everything works. 2 weeks later I get another no power to Rh wire. I call them again. Dude comes out and start messing with wiring, all of a sudden my old thermostat works So thermostat was never broken I suppose? Now he said the board is bad. He put a whole new board, now everything is working and thermostat is turning on. However, none of the vents blow really hard. They blow with very little force of air. And the air its blowing is only 65F. Its supposed to be blowing around 40F. So he said he had to go and he left, and he said he was going to come back. He hasnt billed me yet.

Tl;dr. What the heck? I already know he wasted my money with everything he did that day during the thermostat broken issue because thermostat was never broken. And now that he puts on a new board on the furnace, all the vents in the house blow weak air, and mildly cold air. What should I even say to him Im upset.

I just installed Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun. I installed the TSPatch which is the big patch that allows 1080p and 4k resolutions. The problem is the HUD is tiny at 1080p and the game zooms out too far. Is there a way to output the game in 1080p to get the benefit of the sharp image, but have the hud be big and camera zoomed in as if you were playing 800x600 resolution?

I should only be seeing about 10 black boxes to the right. In 1080p I'm seeing near 40 of them. Same with camera zoom. At 1080p I'm seeing a huge chunk of the whole map, I should be zoomed in much further to see the soldiers.

There is something called CNC-Ddraw. Its supposed to allow me to render the game at 1080p and display it at 800x600 HUD size, but I cant get it to work. Or maybe its not able to do what Im trying to do.

I don't see any bullying from the post you quoted.

If you engage in debate with a classmate during class, then follow him around everywhere he goes after the class is finished so you can keep throwing verbal attacks directed towards him, thats literally harassment. I shouldnt have to explain this I hope youre not a general reflection of what most posters on CE resemble with their thinking. How is that not bullying?

The debate ends when the class ends. Following the guy around like a puppy is bullying.

These 2 had an altercation in a previous post, and now the 2 mentioned users came in here with a negative attitude clearly stained from their previous topic. Well this is a new topic, get over it and grow up. Imagine if I followed you in any other topic you made and I kept belittling you with, how is it not bullying?! Now you get it? I appreciate that. I can honestly admit that my friend was much more troubled than me. He went on a date with her so I think he had an emotional attachment to her, whereas I simply saw her as a friend. The crazy thing is, he is the one that called it off. He wasn't feeling it with her after the 2nd date, and she was a member of our friend group after that. However, it wasnt until after her death that he couldn't stop thinking about her. He kept telling me how he wishes he could go out her with her one more time and he made a mistake to let her go because she was a wonderful person and didn't deserve the shitty guy that murdered her. Once she passed, it's like he found a new infatuation with her, I thought it was unordinary.

Oh damn, thats horrible :(, stuff like that makes you realize how fragile life is.

My friend was murdered a few weeks ago as well. One of her coworkers tried hitting on her multiple times. She never shared the details of their relationship. Perhaps they were intimate at one point when they met, but Grace was not intimate with him at the end for sure. She contacted my friend group a few times saying that he would be by her home when she came back from work, she suspected that he started stalking her. We asked her if she needed our help. She said no, I'm assuming she would always grab a coffee with him as friends and ask him to leave. A few weeks ago she was stabbed to death by this very man. It's horrific. I remember my best friend went on a date with Grace around Valentines, and Grace had flowers at her home and presents because her murderer was buying her gifts even many months ago. Thats why I suspected that they had a prior relationship but Grace just lost interest. The guy couldn't bear it so he stabbed her repeatedly. :( My best friend still hasn't recovered. Tonight was the first time he felt like going out for live music and drinks actually.

$10 million, brother just think about that... I read somewhere that the average American makes $1.36m throughout their entire working life of 40 years. So if the victim was middle aged, I could see the state awarding half of a lifes worth earnings so the remainder of what the victim was supposed to earn for his/her life could go to the children, aka around $680k. But to accept $10m is straight up robbing all of us and trying to overcompensate financially because one of your family members was involved in a tragedy.

Humans that seek compensation during the loss of a loved one are equally as vile in my opinion. Ive never understood it. I would accept funeral expenses maximum, and MAYBE college education expenses if the victim had kids. But $10m will not bring my family member back. I am grieving during this time, not taking the settlement to try and make a profit of my familys death Jesus Christ. I despise these people. Ive always theorized that individuals who actually accept the ridiculous sums already had a troubling relationship with their family so its more of a Now Im going to profit because of all the years of fighting I endured with said family member.

But no one ever brings this up. We keep blaming the court system. If I was in that position, I would accept the settlement only until it covers 100% of the funeral and maybe 100-200k per child to pay for a 4 year college if the victim had children, everything over can go back to the state to fix roads and build schools. Imagine thinking Nope I get to live in a mansion, drive a sports car, and set up trust funds all due to the loss of my family member. There is something fucked about that in my opinion. No amount of money will bring me joy. There is nothing to compensate my familys absence. I just dealt with my friends losing their sister in a murder and I could see the same in their eyes, they didnt want money nor do they care.

Some humans disgust me.

Got COVID last year. Been more aroused lately. It's probably because I've been working out more and eating healthy after the infection. COVID actually pushed me to be more healthy. No problem in the erection department. I can also go multiple times in a day, but again it's probably because I'm working out more.

No it has nothing to do with working out. You are like Spider-Man, your bite was the Covid. Youre Superman now!

Boy you really didnt think this post through lmao. Dresden and Hamburg were horrific war crimes

I agree. I honestly think he had the right idea in his head, but chose the wrong subject because hes misinformed. Dresden was not a retaliation, it was a coherent and unprovoked onslaught of terrorist infused attacks on civilians that couldnt defend themselves. The USA hangs its head in shame and did apologize for it. Weirdly, the US never apologized for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Not that I have ever seen.
