CS4/Anguis/Enforcers: Yeah, First, Fourth, and Fifth are still the mystery Anguis. We know the Fourth talks like Lechter in terms of speech pattern, but given the Fourth was also part of Sharon's assassin organization that all but rules out it actually being Lechter. The Fifth Anguis has long been speculated to be someone with knowledge of the Gralsritter's activity and talks in a manner consistent with an older man. Barkhorn was a popular suspect before CS3. I don't know what to make of Epstein yet, but someone (I think Mac?) mentioned that timewise it lines up with McBurn pretty well though.

This is where the concept of Divergent Laws comes from. Sometimes things from beyond this world make it into Zemuria, which screws up the natural order. I guess this would be stuff like Artifacts and the Sept-Terrions. Maybe that's why Ouroboros wants to observe what happens when humans take control of them.

I took it to mean stuff more like the Salt Pale (as Sara notes), whatever McBurn is, the weapons the Grandmaster hands out, etc. I assumed that the Sept-Terrions don't count because they're from Aidios and thus part of the natural order... but you might be on to something here given that the default mode of thinking is just "don't know? attribute to aidios"

You know, that eyecatch about the Marley Scout Ships basically makes it sounds like they just kept sending ships one after another to Paradis with them all disappearing and that feels more like they're run by Zapp Brannigan. like there's gotta be some pattern recognition eventually that it's not working, right?

Speaking of college basketball, since I've been watching some of the conference tournaments on and off I've picked up on some of the NCAA Tournament's protocols and they seem uh.... unwise. You're good to be in if you have 5 healthy players? Like, uh, okay that is the minimum number of players you need but given the risk of injury, fatigue, or foul trouble I feel like you should require teams to have like... 8 players minimum able to play? Maybe 7 if you're truly that desperate and cynical for the money.

I'm not sure any team is going to enter with literally 5 players but it will look so bad if a game is decided by forfeit because something happens during the game that drops them to 4 players.

Slowly pushing through Utawarerumono. Was finally able to make some decent progress again over the weekend. Just took back the Capital. I almost feel bad for Raiko, he was totally robbed lol. Also omfg at Mirhuj's BETRAYALTON on Mikazuchi. If he really went out like that, that sucks. But just like Vurai I kind of refuse to believe he's dead unless we see him turn to salt. When he found that masked person I was legit expecting it to be the Mikado on some galaxy brain plan though lol. I do wish Raiko went out the way he planned, without fighting, after explaining his motivations to the party. I definitely feel like that'd be a lot better than a surprise fifth akuruka. Speaking of the Mikado though HE LIVES and basically soft confirms Woshis as the culprit as I always suspected. Though I'm not sure I'm going to like the direction this goes with him referring to the Mikado as "Father." We'll see though because it looks like we're off to return to best country Tuskur.

Kuon and Nekone have also had some really great scenes during all this. First Kuon tapping into divine power to lay down the law on the transformed Haku and Mikazuchi and just chewing them out. And then especially later on when Kuon talks to Nekone after the Mikado confirms her suspicious that "Oshtor" is actually Haku and comforts Nekone for all the guilt she feels for everything that's happened.

CS4: Predetermined, I believe. That's the team lineup in alphabetical order from the selection list: A, B, C, D, and E. Also the (boring) order I went through them.

Class VII collectively taking the usual big Rean speech away from him and doing it themselves was a great moment.

SMRPG was my first RPG too and should have been the gateway to the genre to me but I was too young and dumb to realize it so it never was more than "a Mario game" to the 6-year old or whatever me and it would take years for me to realize that the reason I loved SMRPG so much (honestly it was closer to obsession, really) was because it was an RPG. Took until Golden Sun and Tales of Symphonia for that realization.

Locations: Draco Sanctuary, Stella Sanctuary, Orchis Tower, Osgiliath Basin, Bryonia Island, Mishleam's Fortune Telling Room. And then the full ore you get for reporting 100% Books.

I think that's about everything, but I didn't get the trophy for completing every sidequest, so I decided to check and see if I missed anything or if something unlocks later or something. Turns out there was a friggin' hidden monster in the Geofront in the last part of Act 3, how lame. I don't remember anything popping up for the Geofront as new at any point, so I didn't bother to check it out, bah.

Ah, that sucks.

The ???/Argres quest only pops when you do all the other Finale sidequests (and beat all the cryptids) so you should be good to go on that. Only thing that comes to mind I don't recall you doing is if you tried getting into Orchis Tower again since you couldn't before. I think you may have had to do the SSS sidequest if the game wouldn't let you in through the Geofront entrance near Jona before.

Eh. My first thought was, "Hmm, that might be interesting" but once I started trying to run scenarios I think it'd be kinda boring. Putting aside that analytics can probably "solve" it for the most part, with the current OT rules does the second team ever not take offense regardless of where the first team puts the ball?

Say they put the ball on the far 20? I mean, that's the old touchback spot, I imagine every team takes offense there. The 10? Probably! I mean, maybe if you put the ball on the 1 and make them go 99 yards but with how the game favors offense and TD wins on first possession I just don't know if it'd be all that interesting.

At St. Ursula, we're allowed to briefly meet with the Emperor after his successful operation. Our final Crossbell stop for now (by the way, I can't seem to find a way to enter Orchis Tower. What's the holdup?) is Stargazer's Tower.

CS4: I think there's a quest you have to do before that opens up if you can't simply enter through the giant door in the Geofront near the Crossbell Lighthouse Geofront entrance. The quest start point is in Milsante.

CS4: The Renne scene with Harold and the Hamel sidequest are really, really good. I saved that bit for the last part of my tour of all areas and it made for a really nice capstone.

I bought P5 Strikers the other day and it's on deck for me after Utawarerumomo: Mask of Truth but unfortunately my time to play that has been cut into fairly significantly of late so progress has been slowed there and may remain so for some time.

I just retook Nakoku and Brainwashed!Maroro brought down the bridge. He's also apparently on some steroids or something because his magic power is off the charts now. The twins commented on it and I assume it's Woshis's doing but man. Also since I last posted some thoughts on stuff that's happened there the journey to Rulutieh's homeland was good, and while I was not a fan of Vurai surviving the MoD ending I have forgiven it because the confrontation of him coinciding with Nekone's emotional breakdown and all the parallels to the real!Oshtor/Vurai fight were just excellent with Haku coming out on top this time and providing a different end to that retread. "There is no brother who does not worry for his sister." was a great moment in the Haku/Nekone "sibling" relationship.

CS4: Not sure if the map labels these but just in case: Revisit the Shrines where you fought Rutger and Arianrhod. At the end area, there should be a Zemurian Ore Shard at each. You can theoretically collect the one at Rutger's as early 3-2 but I don't think it was marked then, I just went there myself and found it during that section. Maybe it gets marked for the finale idk.

Next up is the Horror Coaster, which is another "anyone can do this" one, but thankfully, there's really nothing unique about the experience for each person and I have zero desire to play this mini-game over a dozen times, so moving on!

You are correct, with one exception. If you take Altina to the Horror Coaster, Millium comes too and it's pretty cute. Not entirely unlike how she accompanies Jusis for sparklers but I liked the Altina/Millium interaction a lot more.

Yeah, Beryl's Fortunes were the best of the different events IMO and I wish more people could go get them. I liked Celine's as well, but pretty much all of them were good... except Elliot's where it just seems weird he was an option compared to the others.

It's doubly optional. You only get the orbmail if you sent her a gift back when you were in Crossbell in 3-2 (the game auto-sends the gift at the end of the act if you forgot until after you couldn't send it because once you head out to face Arianrhod you can't send gifts and left it in your inventory like I did) And then yeah you can just totally blow her off and ignore the mail even if you do get it.

Now it's time for Rean's choice! I wasn't expecting Rean to teacher-zone Juna, that was great. Alfin's was honestly kind of cute. I'd be okay with her being the canon over Alisa, at least! But after watching Alisa's scene, it feels pretty clear what they want the canon couple to be! Altina's VA absolutely nailed her scene. Fie's "Get a clue" line delivery was excellent, too, and we learn her birthday is August 31st! Sara's was all right, really nothing special.

I pretty much agree with all your takes here. Except Juna because I didn't have her available because she was one of my drops on her second heart event. Alfin's was cute and Altina's VA was fantastic in that scene and it'd be a top-tier scene in general if not for the fact that the scene gets back to the "romance" part. Altina's distress and anguish that Rean is choosing to hangout with her and spilling her worries about being "fake" and Rean telling her she's not is just so good. And yeah, lmfao Fie's reaction to Rean's "oh man if i knew it was your birthday we would have thrown a party!" was gold.

No worries, you end up with 9 tickets if you find the 4 that aren't handed to you at the start. They should be: The drinking contest sidequest, feeding the cat the right fish (you can fish for it there if you don't have it), beating Toval in VM, and finally talking with Anton after you do the story scene with Cassius.

AoT S4E8 watched. Man of all the people Gabi could have shot it had to be Sasha. Also, man Jean has been on a long journey for me. He started as a character I didn't like and now he's basically acting as the voice of the only sane point of view here. Though to be fair it sounds like the Scouts are pissed at Eren and wanted no part of this but still. Also this Zeke betrayalton I'm not sure what to make of it, Levi should just take him out I can't see it leading anywhere good.

F/GO: CCC event (story) beated. Pretty good singularity. Messed around in the Beast III/R fight and ended up with Story Guest!Melt getting the finishing blow which felt very fitting.

CS4: Just a small hint in regards to tickets. All in all you should be able to acquire 9 total. I think you're at 7 right now, right? If so, I think that's good. After you use a few and you meet up with Cassius a few people move around and some new subevents open and you can grab the other tickets.

CS4: Yeah, that's the moment Rufus goes full heel because that was despicable. Jusis with the A+++ voice acting again when he calls him out though. All the scenes around Arianrhod are so good. The pre-fight reveal of her motives is one thing but then the party slowly convincing her not to die, and finally "Sometimes parents must lie to their children." man I started tearing up then. o7 Arianrhod. The Ouroboros mourning party was touching too, especially since like you said, even Campanella seems sad in his own way. And yeah, Arianrhod's S-Craft is excellent, one of my favorites in the series.

Ennea mentions that she was a D:G test subject (although she doesn't mention it by name), and the only good thing that came of it was her ability to use an orbal bow. Duvalie and Arianrhod were the ones who rescued her from it. The other party members whisper about the cult but still don't actually say the name. I guess it's a "that which must not be named" thing now, although Gaius said the church assisted in wiping them out, so I suppose that means it's gone now.

Ennea heavily implies it back in CS3 in a scene where it's just the Stahlritter (end of Chapter 3 after everyone leaves Juno IIRC) talking among themselves where she similarly mentions she was part of a cult and I think Ines praises her for being able to break through the conditioning she was put through or something and I immediately assumed she meant D G. I know you didn't play Zero until after CS3 but I think that's the first hint towards that.

As for the Cult, IIRC in Zero it's mentioned that the Cassius-led operation crushed most of them and it was essentially said that the Gralsritter and Ouroboros cleaned up the rest. Joachim just managed to be the one guy who somehow escaped even that mop-up operation, I want to say he even mentions that himself. So, yeah, as of the end of Zero I think that was the end of them for real.

So, back in September, the South Dakota AG hit and killed a man while driving. He claimed he thought he hit a deer and didn't know it was a man until the next day when he returned to the scene after the cops said they didn't find any deer at the site.

Well, a week ago it came back that he was being charged with three misdemeanors that each have a maximum penalty of 30 days jail and a $500 fine. Because apparently in South Dakota vehicular homicide can only be charged if you were intoxicated (and he wasn't tested for BAC until 15 hours after the incident)

Well, then came out videos from the investigation and interrogation and it's... uh... well, probably pretty unsurprising, but awful nonetheless.

The investigators point out he was driving on the shoulder when he claimed to be in the middle of the road, that the victim had a bright flashlight that witnesses had seen him walking with earlier and questioning him over his denial that he saw it. But most damningly:

At one point, investigators said that a pair of broken glasses was found inside the attorney general's car and that the glasses could have gotten there only by Boever's face entering through the windshield.

There is a resolution in the state house for impeachment and the governor is calling for his resignation but his office issued a statement on Tuesday saying he had no intention to resign.

CS4: Yeah, the Thaumatergical Sector is a fun dungeon. Great theme as well. You're right about Alberich and how it's great that Ouroboros just constantly shits on him when they speak freely. Campanella and Shirley when he blew up the Courageous in CS3, Mariabell at the end there, but my favorite was McBurn just before that when the Leviathan tries to interfere. Everyone hates him. Great luck with the randomizer there to get Randy for Crossbell stuff IMO.

Did he though? I don't think Biden ever promised to abolish ICE. He should have because it's the right thing to do but I'm pretty sure his promise was to stop the draconian policies Trump, Sessions, Miller, etc. put in and pursue immigration reform.

On literal Day 1 he issued an order to pause all deportations. Texas immediately sued to get that order thrown out and a federal judge did that. Since he apparently can't halt them that directly he instead started issuing orders to ICE to only focus on actual violent criminals. I'm not going to claim that more can't be done, I'm sure there's always more that can be done and it's fine and right to push for that to be done... but I really don't think this is Biden breaking a promise. He seems to be sticking to this one as best he can so far. His promise didn't go far enough IMO, but that's a separate issue.

Like, he is fighting ICE here with his orders to redefine their scope and what they should be doing. There have been articles written from anonymous ICE officials who were "distraught" that his orders would "abolish ICE without abolishing ICE." I don't think that's enough and he should actually abolish it but I don't think it's accurate to say he just walked away on this.
