It really, really depends on the story in question.
I would say ambiguous is frequently the worst though, but TBC gets me in more of an uproar. I'd agree with this. Except I probably dislike ambiguous more than TBC. That question is too hard to handle, honestly. It depends on the game in question. Depending on the game the kind of ending I want changes. Take... say, Tales of Symphonia and NieR, they're vastly different kinds of stories and I wouldn't want the same kind of ending for the two of them.
The only exception is basically ambiguous, that... pretty much never goes well, IMO. To Be Continued is similar, if only because half the time I feel like it won't be continued. Disgaea makes you Earn Your Bad Endings. For good reason too. Disgaea 2's Worst Ending is still one of the more disturbing endings I've experienced. Hmm, my book Top 5 probably goes something like:
1. Littlefinger 2. Jaime 3. Stannis 4. Jon 5. Tyrion There are tons of honorable mentions, of course, and I feel like outside of the Top 2 I could interchange things a fair bit depending on when you asked me. It's been a while since I played Mana Khemia so my knowledge of all its songs is a bit diminished, but IIRC, Hallucinate Bell is pretty good, and probably in the group that beats Nefertiti.

Huh, this is kinda interesting, but nothing I'd say is great. Not bad though. Mute City Eh... F-Zero music is generally not something I like. There are a few okay/good songs in there, but Mute City isn't really one of them. Want You Gone This might be my favorite of its kind of song, but my rant from earlier still holds. Teary Edge This is good though. Well, this was kind of neat... for a bit. I don't think I'd say it's good, but I also don't think I'd say it's terrible either. Actually, for some reason it reminds me of something out of Mario Paint. Might just be some of the sound effects. Heavenly Flight This is okay, I guess. Intro Music This might be one of FFT's better songs. Which doesn't necessarily mean all that much coming from me, but it is definitely better to be one of FFT's better songs than one of its worse. Well, it starts out as one of FFT's better songs, then it makes me all sad towards the end there. Nevertheless! Xanadu Haha, this is really neat. I feel like this comes kind of close to crossing the line into something I wouldn't like, but thankfully it does not. Final Showdown? Would anyone else (besides Mana, Ed, Kenri or ArkOfTurus) like to be a replacement?
As I said earlier, I'm willing to do more, though I'm not sure I'm the best choice.
