Those people don't lift heavy.

Some of them certainly seemed like they were. Still not butt. And most people don't want to look brolic anyway, they just want the big booty without any of the other stuff. And that type of body comes from genetics, mostly.

I see a lot of people at the gym who clearly take care of themselves, are in far better shape than me, but have no butt to speak of. It's not as simple as doing some squats. There's a lot of people out there who have an hour glass shape without exercising at all and a lot of people who wont be getting one no matter what they do.

This is the strategy of all these liberals in general. Because treating them too humanely bumps up directly against our inhumane border enforcement system and they can't afford to be seen spending resources to treat people like humans. The best outcome for them is just that these people are shipped somewhere else or otherwise disappear.

Workers should join together to demand good treatment from bosses, not tear each other apart. Saying they have it better than you does no one any good and divides power while demanding that both of you get treated better could actually lead to positive things.

I recently went on a date with someone who was that height. I had no idea just how short that really is. I'm not a tall guy at all and I legit felt like I was walking around with a middle schooler and towering over her.

People just kinda live where they live. Because of history, circumstance, relationships, jobs, etc. They decide ahead of time they're not leaving and they'll deal with whatever comes.

Time machine joke was dead on. Its very easy in 2022 to pretend you would have bravely gone against the grain and recognized the bad stuff from generations past because youre such a moral exemplar, but realistically youre a product of your culture now and likely would have been back then too.

It depends on what values you have. Having the correct values and methods of deciding what is right and wrong can help you be ahead of your time. Truly proceeding from the assumption that all human beings are inherently equal regardless of arbitrary distinctions gets you 90 percent of the way there, and there have always been people who believed that.

Any atrocity you can think of, regardless of how widespread support for it was, had people willing to fight and die to stop it, or at least speak out against it, at great personal cost.

Instead of trying to dunk on the people, we should be highlighting the people who were ahead of their time, figuring out what values led them to that conclusion, and spreading that as far as possible. And I think anyone who actually followed those values would turn out pretty goddamn woke.

Bill Maher is not the way, he's hugely a product of his time. He decided what was liberal in like 1985 and concluded that all changes after that, especially on the social front should be ridiculed.

This is indistinguishable from a Fox New segment at this point. It's complete with the same buzzwords, such as "truth" and "narrative" and "apologize", which are usually a euphemism for an ignorant person being a smug asshole.

Regardless of political label, a lot of smug older white dudes end up at this position and it's cringey no matter who does it.

Every time this happens, their userbase is cut and society expresses that their behavior is not acceptable. That's important. Deplatforming works, even if it doesn't completely eliminate problems.

The question is whether deplatforming is justified in specific instances.

They were weaponized internet toxicity. Good and it's long overdue.
