Baltimore Colts to Indy Colts

Took everybody by surprise. They moved in the middle of the night.

Wasn't a total surprise really--there had been rumblings about it with Irsay rumored to have been visiting various cities though he denied it. People were shocked it actually happened though. I think the city tried to do some sort of eminent domain thing with them. Irsay wanted to move the team from the very day he took over it.

It was good up until Jim and Pam's wedding. That whole event just marked a downturn in the quality of the show for me for some reason. I also hated Andy. Just found him grating and not funny.

But before that? A very good show. Also like the British version a lot, but not the ending christmas special that ties a bow around it and redeems David Brent a bit.

People make mistakes. Good luck. I had a similar situation except even worse where I spent an ENTIRE WEEKEND with a person who ended up testing positive and had basically thrown caution into the wind(hey I'm usually pretty careful so certainly this one risky weekend won't hurt me. right?) Was sure I'd gotten it. Nope, didn't get sick and always tested negative. Couldn't believe it. But yeah, was a good lesson to always be careful.

Oh geez this really is a drag to watch through. I'm interested in the Windom Earle story, but everything with Nadine, James, Josie, Ben, Leo.... it's so much nothing

You can safely skip to the last two episodes of S2. David Lynch left after the reveal cause he never wanted to reveal who killed her to begin with. He came back to do the last episode, which was great. But yeah, the rest of S2 is absolutely DREADFUL and imo, not charming at all. Just grating and cringeworthy.

Who would vote for Warnock but not Ossoff? This is an election where it absolutely did not matter who the person wearing a blue tie was.

American voters make no sense in general. In MD in the 2018 midterms popular Republican governor Larry Hogan worked hard to get more republicans into the state legislature to break the democratic supermajority, building up a whole "team hogan" and focusing on conservative districts with democratic representatives. I mean it makes sense right? You like a political figure. So you should want to help him accomplish his agenda. Right?

Hogan won easily over his challenger. Almost none of his "team" did. What are these voters thinking? I just dont understand it. Not that I agree with any of the dudes agenda it just makes no sense that if you like a guy to also vote for people who make it harder for that same guy to do what he wants.

if PA and MI counted the mail-ins as they came in, the vast majority of the country would have been convinced Biden won before Election Day was over.

I mean yeah that's the whole point--they don't and until that stuff started coming in there was no real way to know if the mail-in votes were strong enough to hold the Trump surge at bay. Thankfully it was. It was apparent late election night that Biden was going to win once those started getting counted and WI and MI went to Biden.

Because those states count mail in ballots ahead of time, unlike PA and other midwestern states

Either way, the mail-in ballots in those states(esp florida which was seen as slightly leaning biden) were not enough to overcome the strong election day turnout for Trump. When that became apparent a Trump win looked more and more likely.

It was way closer than the polls were looking yet again. We were told it was going to be a big "Red Mirage" and then Biden would pull ahead but FL and OH weren't mirages--trump just killed it in turnout. Plus the dems' senate and house races looked bad. Ultimately Biden didn't have the same issues Clinton did in PA, MI and WI so he was able to withstand the surge. We were definitely very close to Trump winning a second term though despite losing the popular vote by 5-6 million.

It's insane how close some of these states get with many millions of voters.

Adderall only helps me some, but I have manic bi polar 2 (no depressive) which combined with my ADHD gives me INSANE boosts of energy throughout the day. It also makes it difficult to focus, almost to the point where I cannot sit and play games without the aid or help of something (like my medication).

FYI: If you have ADD/ADHD, any speed helps your condition and affects our bodies differently from normal people. Where normal people get speeded up by caffeine or amphetamines (like Adderall), it actually SLOWS us down.

Chug a 20 OZ redbull and see what I mean. Until you get a prescription, you'll want to make due with caffeine. Getting a prescription is kind of easy if you have a history of ADHD. Without a history, just fill out a questionnaire at your local therapist/psych clinic making sure to answer "yes" to anything that involves racing thoughts or the inability to focus. When you get to a psychiatrist, let them know that Adderall was recommended to you by like your mom or something and see where you go from there.

If you expect your insurance to cover this, think again. Adderall and Ritalin are only recommended to children and young adults that are still in college. Don't ask me why, but insurance reasons that functioning adults have less of a need for attention deficit disorder fixers and can act like normal people regardless of their inability to focus.

As such, you may find yourself paying for this prescription out of pocket. They can be expensive, about $50-$120 a month, so if you can get your insurance to cover it, good for you (I cannot).

I drink about a pot of coffee a day. So maybe that does help me a bit. I also have that problem where I can't even do something like play videogames most of the time. I like reading but I just can't do it. I'll sit there and read a page or start something and then bam I just put it off and start doing something else. Starting tasks like cleaning or organizing is sometimes impossible even though I know that once I get the ball really rolling, I will be fine. I'm just real tired of getting dragged around by impulses and tunnel vision type of crap. I'm pretty sure I don't have any other issues besides ADHD.

Was in deep denial about the diagnosis for years after but recently I have kind of come around to the fact that the diagnosis was correct. Considering seeking an adderall prescription as I've heard it's better for it than Ritalin. I just hate taking meds in general.

The United States is never going to be the country where even somewhat traditionally left wing policy will ever be seen as "good". The rest of the first world has some form of universal health care. It isn't seen as a "left wing agenda" or anything of that nature. It is seen as good governance. Bring it up in the United States, and everyone flips their fucking shit.

The policy actually is very popular in the US, just that a huge chunk of the Democrats actively work against it while convincing their base they are for it and just safer candidates to run against Republicans. Exit polls in the Democratic primaries showed that a majority of the voters want a government-run healthcare plan yet Biden trounced Sanders head to head.
