I imagine when that guy says that he actually expects someone to respond with "By the Gods... someone get NASA on the line stat, we've got information for them!"

The climate changes naturally.

Mainly through a combination of solar forcing and CO2 forcing, which the industrial age is hugely shifting.

We shouldn't notice the effects of a changing climate within a fraction of our own fucking lifetimes lol

U.S.%20Geological,CO2%20emissions%20every%20year%20worldwide.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the world's volcanoes, both on land and undersea, generate about 200 million tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) annually, while our automotive and industrial activities cause some 24 billion tons of CO2 emissions every year worldwide.

In case you are unaware, 24 billion > 200 million

Volcanoes cause more pollution than cars.

Volcanoes cause only about 2% of activity compared to all human activity. Eruptions also contribute to cooling.

This reminds me when people say things like "we need more points" or "we need to have better offense" when watching sports. If I know them well enough, I'll sometimes reply "FUCK! Why didn't they think of that?!"

Well for starters I believe in taking care of the environment from a much more local standpoint.
~Which is to say, what is good for your area is good for the globe. Should I worry about turning the planet into Venus....or just think....Hmmm, maybe I should be covering my lawn with poison.

That being said, ya something is going on. However, it is also interesting to note that the last Glacier left my state a meer 12,000 years ago. Which is basically now in geologic time.

But ya, maybe I just noticing broken glass at a swimming hole and picking it up and disposing of it properly will have a last, immediate and positive impact on my local space.

~Ever notice how the people that throw trash out of their car tend to be throwing away trash from trash food at from trash restaurants? Kinda makes you think.

When ever anyone says climate change is a hoax I always go back to Texas Republican Rep. Steve Stockman, who at the time was on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, who stated "when ice melts in a glass of water, the water level does not increase." 99% of our politicians could not pass a freshman biology class, yet we rely on them for environmental and health decisions, which explains what is going on today.
