Deals like that don't exist in Canada. Looking at my McD app right now the only offers available are:

That's it. There's no 30 cent Big Macs or Quarter Pounders, nor is there any way to get 2 McDoubles, a Fry and a drink for under $7.

Isn't the whole 1st, 2nd, 3rd world terms pretty outdated by now?

If you mean by 1st world that it is a developed country, then yes. It is incredibly odd how much control the cartel has despite that.

Obviously the pre-1991 definitions of First World, Second World and Third World no longer apply with the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Since the terms are generally used today in reference to a country's economic and political stability and industrial and technological development, the best way to sort First, Second and Third World countries is using the IMF and UN's lists of Developed (First), Developing (Second), and Undeveloped (Third) Countries, in which Mexico is a Developing Country or Second World.

From what I understand after watching Cinema Snob's review of "American Siege", Willis is only on set for one day and has all his lines fed to him via headset.
According to Wikipedia, Out of Death was the same. The whole movie only took 9 days to film and Willis was only on-set for one of them.

Anyway, this is quite the turn for a guy who ended up refusing to do Expendables 3 because he wanted more money. Now he's doing low-budget direct-to-DVD and made-for-TV original movies which can't possibly be paying him what Expendables 3 offered.

I've only had to deal with FedEx once. The day my package was supposed to be delivered, it never arrived. Checked the tracking site, it said "attempted delivery (no answer)" at something like 1pm. I was home then, no one attempted delivery.

The next day same thing and the day after same thing again. So now since there had been three "attempts" I had to go pick it up at the depot myself. The problem is, the tracking site didn't tell me where the depot was. All it said was the information for pickup would be on a card left at my address, which of course I didn't have since no one actually attempted delivery. So I had to call them to find out where my package was.

Turns out the depot is about 45 minutes out of the city in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Seriously you look it up on Google maps and there's a FedEx building on this broken rural road surrounded by nothing but field and trees. Anyway, I don't drive. So I had to call my dad and ask him to go out and pick it up after work and bring it to me because I had no way to get out there.

So yeah, FedEx sucks and I really hope I never have to deal with them again.

Are we talking fake processed cheese like Kraft Singles and Velveeta, or real cheese from America like Wisconsin Colby or Monterey Jack? Because there's a difference. There's nothing wrong with real American cheeses and many are often great for cooking with because they generally have milder flavors then their European counterparts that don't overpower the rest of the recipe.

But that fake processed crap that many Americans seem happy and prideful to call their own deserves to be the butt of the joke when it comes to cheeses. Hell around here (I don't know if it's the same in the US itself) many of them aren't even legally allowed to be called "cheese" and get silly names like "pasteurized cheese product". I'm baffled people are calling it "the best cheese for a burger" assuming this is what they're referring to. A slice of cheddar or swiss is way better than a Kraft Single on a burger.

In fact if you pay debit or credit at any restaurant the three choices you are given for a tip is 15%, 18% and 20% and if you go to a upscale place or have a large party they'll usually just simply charge an 18% tip right on your bill and not even given the option.

White Russian

Coffee liqueur
Vodka
Cream (or Milk)

Basically looks and tastes like an iced coffee.

If you're lactose intolerant or otherwise don't like coffee or something, just do something with Vodka as it's primary liquor. Vodka barely has a taste so as long as the other ingredients limit the alcohol burn, you won't know you're drinking alcohol.

The more money that is put down on a single horse, the smaller the payout for that horse is, so that the money collected from the losing horses can pay off the winners and still result in a net gain for the booker.

For example, say there are 10 horses in a race. Horse 1 has 10 bets of $5 each placed on him ($50 total). Horses 2 through 10 all each have 1 bet at $5 placed on them ($45 total). The odds on horse 1 is 1:2, so he pays out 50% of the original bet. The others are all 10:1, so they pay 10x the original bet. If Horse 1 wins, each person who bet wins $7.50 (their bet of $5, plus 50%, or $2.50, in winnings). The booker uses the $45 from the other bets to pay that out, so the winners all make $25 combined meanwhile the booker still has $20 left over in profit. If any of the other horses win the person who bet on them will get $55 dollars, which is covered entirely from the bets placed on Horse 1 while the booker will keep the $40 total that was placed on all the other horses.

Obviously professional bookers, race tracks, etc. have a much more complex and sophisticated mathematical formula for this, but basically the odds on each horse are adjusted based on the bets placed on them so that the take from the losing bets will always more than cover what needs to be paid out to the winners.

I read an interview with Yoshio Sakamoto, one of the creators and lead developers of the Metroid games, just a little while ago when Dread was announced and he talked about this.

Basically he didn't like the N64 controller and refused to try making a 3D Metroid with it. So Nintendo searched for a third-party developer to do it while Sakamoto and his team worked on a handheld Metroid (which became Metroid Fusion). However it took years to find a company willing to take on the project and the N64 was late enough into it's life that it was developed for the Gamecube instead.
