I highly doubt Bass is telling the whole story here. I wouldn't be surprised if the actual scenerio went something like this:

*Kid drops popcorn*
Wife: Stewardess! My kid spilled her popcorn, we need it swept up!
Flight attendant: We'll clean it up with the rest of the plane after disembarking ma'am.
Wife: But I don't wanna sit here with popcorn at my feet!
Flight attendent: Ma'am, we can't have you standing up and moving around while the plane is in the air, and we can't sweep while you can your kids are sitting there. You can pick it up yourself if you want, otherwise you'll have to wait until after we land.
Wife: *huffs* Fine, then I will do it myself!

My phone isn't thinking, or self aware of its existence or have free will.
Obi-Wan literally says in AotC, "If droids could think, there'd be none of us here.", implying that a droid's sentience and thought-process is still limited to it's programming to some extent.

That said R2-D2 and C-3PO clearly "think" on their own several times throughout the series and 3PO in particular is repeatedly afraid of his own destruction or deactivation which is usually a key trait of full AIs (pretty much every organic vs AI story in fiction starts with the AIs developing a fear of organic beings shutting them down), so they're either extremely hyperadvanced droids (which considering one is a run-of-the-mill astromech droid and the other was literally built by a child slave in his free time, I sincerely doubt) or Lucas simply never fully thought through what a "droid" actually is.

Almost everything he's done in the last 3 years were low budget Direct-to-DVD/Streaming movies that spent nearly the entirety of the budgets that they had on him. A 5 would be a high rating for movies like that.

Like Corrective Measures which was a "Tubi Original Movie". I didn't even know that was a thing until right now. How much money could Tubi be possibly pouring into original productions? Especially after paying whatever Bruce wanted for his 2 days of filming?

This is exactly what it is. The Saudi's aren't stupid. They can see that the era of oil is coming to an end, and something like 80% of their current economy is linked to oil. If they just sit on their hands and do nothing then when that bubble bursts their economy will collapse and the royal family's lavish lifestyle will disappear. So instead they're trying to get ahead of the game now by investing their money in businesses and technologies that will still exist in 100 years when oil no longer does.

This. There's been several Persons of the Year who have been generally regarded as bad people. Hitler being the obvious one. But also Stalin, Putin, The Ayatollah, Trump, both Bushes, Reagan, Nixon, 3 Popes, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Ted Turner. Hell, even Newt Gingrich was Person of the Year once.

But of course this is Elon Musk we're talking about and I'm sure his tiny mind is incapable of the higher thought needed to realize that the most important person in any given year does not necessarily have to be so for good reasons.

The push for women's rights in Afghanistan started in the 1920s and in 1964 women were granted full equal rights in the constitution which lasted until the first Taliban takeover in 1996. It's not like women were denied education, segregated in society, and forced to wear full body coverings for centuries all the way up until the US kicked out the Taliban in 2001.

From my experience those who find draws "anticlimactic" generally lack an understanding and/or appreciation for the game outside of goals. Not a single English fan would tell you they deserved to win.
Draws being "anticlimactic" and otherwise unacceptable is a very American (and to a lesser extent, Canadian) mindset.

For example, MLB plays extra innings until there's a winner in every game. Hell, there have been games that went so long they suspended play for the night and resumed the next day rather than just calling it a draw. However in Japan and Korea's baseball leagues there's a 12 inning maximum. If it's still tied at the end of 12 innings, it's a draw.

And if you look at sports common outside of North America but rare here, such as cricket, ties are usually seen as fair and acceptable outcomes unless it's like a single-elimination tournament where a winner obviously is required.
