it's based on Japan's LDP (Liberal Democratic Party), which is despite the name a conservative party and has been in power for most of Japan's post-war history.

I kinda stopped at member berries last I heard from them is they got pretty lazy in their stories and rely heavily on randy and cartman to drive plots now with Kyle and Stan just being Brian like characters now where they just come off as bitter and cynical to everyone around them even each other and their dialog now reads like two youtubers talking at each other instead of to each other. Kenny I legit have no idea what his character even is anymore

it can be funny at times but most of the time it's aggressively unfunny and repetitive. most of the episodes, especially the modern ones, love to beat you over with the "joke of the week" for the entire episode, and it either works or it falls completely flat

it's the most barebones, lazy political humor. i think the interactions of the kids can be amusing but i usually roll my eyes when i see the more melodramatic and "grand" episodes

That's actually tame compared to some of the comic versions of Madeline Pryor. Which I won't post here because of the stupid ass rules.

That scene where beast is in jail reading a book and the guards insult his intelligence and treat him like an animal. It is clear what they are comparing this too.

I love the push for realistic graphics. It's cool to see the technology progress and get closer and closer to real life.

If anything I got tired of the indie market being flooded with pixel graphic games.

Also it's a shame that making cel-shaded and/or cartoony graphics is somehow more expensive than the bland drab boring photorealistic motion cap style. Damn the masses for their crummy opinion on anything outside the "photorealism" style

People don't appreciate art. You should maybe focus less on the AAA market. It died long ago with very rare exceptions.

-- I already know what happened to most of that cast after the first cartoon ended (especially Jubilee)
-- It is easier for me to conclude that this cartoon is for the people who vaguely watched the original

As a matter of fact, from the rumblings I heard since the first cartoon ended, my favorite X-men Rogue is either dead or became so powerful she is some other worldly being. That is why I'm fine with not revisiting this, among other reasons.

Animation was anything but consistent in the 90s.

that said, they did seem to put Wolverine on fucking roids xD
