I believe a lot of families would appreciate this service during such trying times, but of course without the extra stresses of bureaucracy and such.

There was a guy doing it during a time when no laws really covered it and eventually they convicted him of murder. Since then no one has bothered to try making it legal.

My sister works hospice and discusses how ass backwards the system is sometimes in almost forcing people to stay alive against their will until the very last moments. But then caveats it that sometimes people in short term pain want to die but recover and have many more years.

It's also such a fucked up difficult thing to have any sort of reasonable conversation about and unfortunately a lot of the time the people making the decisions how little to know experience with what they are campaigning for.

From a personal perspective... I had to watch my grandad in hospital deteriorate over two months. He knew he was done and wanted to go home and die surrounded by his family but was denied this simple request... instead he lay in a bed in a plane white room with no stimulus slowly losing his mind and in pain until nature finally took it's course.

Whatever your stance I think we can all agree more discourse needs to be had on better end of life care with a focus on compassion and respect.

My uncle got so weak from cancer that they canceled his last scheduled chemotherapy because they said there was a pretty good chance the chemotherapy would kill him before the cancer. They gave him some extreme pain meds and sent him home. It was sad but he at least got to die at home with his family.

The night he died, he was sitting up in bed and asked my aunt to slap him across the face if it looked like he was falling asleep because he was sure if he went to sleep he wouldn't wake up.

I don't know how he knew that but sure he enough he eventually went to sleep and didn't wake up.

This is not surprising. Ys (Falcom's game) does this, too.

Underleveled, you get smacked hard.
Get even, the game becomes fun again.
Overleveled even one level, you starts to wonder what the hell the calculation behind the scene is.

A lot of games have a level scaling mechanic that makes stats/equipment basically useless.

It came to a head on WOW when level 80 druids started soloing raid bosses from vanilla.

DC doesn't have that even, so not sure why they want to bring that into Nikke. Hopefully the KR and JP fans complaining can get them to actually change things, as they are perfectly capable of doing good things, as seen by changes they've made to DC (plus the lewdness)

They really do seem to be doing their best to self sabotage. No idea why they want the kid market, it's the whales that bring in the big bucks, not f2p people. Give them the lewd and they will splurge!

Whales need a large F2P base to clown on otherwise they will feel their money is wasted

Google play games PC is open beta in USA now. Quite a few gachasb on it. Guardian Tales promised support eventually but it's not there yet. No way to side load AFAIK.

Space Leaper Cocoon.

It's similar to brown dust. A feature it had that I really liked is that it would automatically grind out your daily quests you just had to log in and hit collect.

I tried hard to like this game but it was absurdly difficult and there's no real way to control your units after you place them so it's not even a skill issue it's just you have to grind more.

On that note, Jewel Princess Reincarnation went up yesterday and has a tutorial reroll... but this ReDive now expects you to get more copies of each SSR, and the gameplay's turned into something like AFK Arena, or something.

There's a button to delete your account. Rerolling was also always possible in mobile.

Monthly 100 gem pack is by far the best and daily 100 coffee is second best. Check the promotional packs as well. They're usually overpriced though even if they have a good value. If there's a 500 coffee pack you should consider it.

The game supports Google Play Points coupons as well.

HCs are for limit breaks. You need 700 total to increase a 3 character's level limit by +5.

Also they still require like a little over a thousand crystals to max a hero. That is easily my least favorite aspect of this game. They have so much content to work with, so there was no need to keep this dumb mechanic in. At least reduce it by half. Not too optimistic about this version

They added a feature where the first 100 stamina you spend a day on the evolution stones gives triple drops so in a sense they reduced it by more than half if you're patient.

You got 100 HCs which aren't useless but no special benefit otherwise.

I'm quitting CounterSide. I actually like the game but I'm so bad at it I can't seem to do even some of the most basic missions and it's starting to make me really frustrated. I wish this game was easier to understand. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Credit unions are NPOs and won't have anywhere nearly as much invested in contracts. But the issue isn't really whether it affects your bank. This is literally poised to be a repeat of 2008 which affected everyone regardless of bank use.

I think Ill just quit Guardian Tales. With that Im back to having no gacha games. Barring the week I played GT, Ive had no gachas to play since early August.

The number of times a police officer/commander has covered up the mistakes/poor behaviors of a police officer is greater than the number of times a police officer/commander has tried to hold one accountable.

I don't know about empirical evidence however any time an officer has been held accountable, it is always despite protection attempts and not because of the lack of them. Meaning that attempts to hold police accountable can only at best ever be equal to or less than the attempts to insulate them, never greater.

Unless you're counting collaborative attempts by individual people against the same offense as unique attempts.

He's only completed about 50% of the single player achievements.

If it was about single player progress you can export your save game from stadia.

But he can't do that and R infinite wisdom decided stadia should not have cross play progression.

Theres literally no sense to removing past purchases. Like a show becoming a tax write-off doesnt require all past physical copies to be recalled since it just prevents any future earnings from the show. So removing past digital purchases makes no sense either.

It has to be done to comply with the tax write off law.

It didn't taste like chocolate.

It's chocolate but the guy who invented it wanted something that could be shipped to soldiers fighting in trenches and not be destroyed heat / weather so a lot of compromises to taste were made to get it to the durability it has.

It's best to think of it more like a chocolate flavored candy.
