Out of curiosity, how grindy is Priconne? Kinda feeling like giving it a go, but already have Genshin and especially Granblue eating up a ton of time.

The only big grinds are the equipment grind (to gear up characters) and the shard grind (to ascend certain characters). The equipment grind can get a bit out of control if you try raising too many characters at once, but if you play smart, limit the number of characters you try to raise, and take advantage of double/triple normal mode drops events when they happen, it's not that bad. The shard grind is a long-term goal that just becomes part of your dailies, and there are also double hard mode drops to occasionally give you a boost.

If you decide to start playing, re-roll for Makoto. Trust me, she's one of the best non-limited units in the entire game, but she's really annoying to try and get later if you don't re-roll for her at the start. After you get a decent core team to start, save your gems for the next Princess Fest banner (AKA double 3* rates and certain limited units coming back) which is expected to be sometime in December at the game's current pace.

I have no way to upgrade it but man I really wanted this ship.

Priconne's grind is saved by being able to use skip tickets. But still not the best once you need to raise 20 units up and all your stamina gets you 2 out of 30 needed parts

I (finally) got enough shards to unlock Akino....and like Shi'zuru, I just let it be.

Who knows, gacha might giveth. /hopium

I also decided to Rank 7 many of my characters (mostly the cute and seggs ones). Got a lot of low level equips and it's not like R7 is expensive.

AS added the ability to view previous event stories, which is something that I can't believe took a whole year to happen, and of course the first story was on Eve, Sinsa's sister.

Hilariously, I pulled her on a random pull a few weeks ago, and I got her colossus story with Soroz still active. At this point, they spent way too freaking long with Soroz with his personality dead, even though the main plot right now is centered around the Navi trying to revive Soroz and ending up in other crazy hijinks. Later on, it's just gonna be bizarre to see Soroz pop back into the dialogues again and a lot of newer players being confused

But another thing is that there was a post quite a long time ago talking about Eve. She only looks young cuz of her condition and also being experimented on. But considering Sinsa's nearing his late 30's, Eve is most likely 27 years old. But Navi, who's a 17 year old, treats her like a younger kid lmao

I don't know what differences there are between CN's CB20 and NA CB20, so damage numbers might not be accurate for NA due to gear differences. It's somewhere to start though.

I kept wondering why these EoM rankers like using (initial) 3* Hawkeye (and Amanda).

Then I realized both had a ranged skill that has more range compared to offensive magic, faster than bow or boomerang attacks, as well as homing in at the enemy given correct positioning.

Considering some bosses like to do wide AoE making them untouchable, such skills ended up becoming precious time saver on some rankings.

And now with stat serum, they end up becoming extremely viable.

Granblue may have just killed a large chunk of its non-JP playerbase. HTTPS is now forced for playing the game, and it's done so poorly that it's about doubling the ping for a lot of people, with westerners already having notably higher ping than JP. So now previously competitive western players aren't able to keep up with the various racing content in the game just because of the added lag, and it's only going to get more apparent next time Unite & Fight rolls around.

In addition to Luna gacha running 10/2-10/13, we get Dragon's Nest event running 10/2-10/16 (Tomo and Matsuri shards). Lima 6 star upgrade and the addition of mock Friend battles on 10/2. Area 29, level cap to 148, and 15-4 equips on 10/13. Normal quest 2x from 9/28-10/2, and from 10/10-10/15.

Cygames is banning fanboxes of people making lewd Umamusume art.

I feel like they basically just don't want to succeed sometimes. They always seem to screw up everything good they have.

I'm not really surprised. Cygames has always been cagey about lewd Uma Musume art, because of the fact that the characters are based off of the actual race horses in Japan's racing circuit. From what I understand, it's more a decision from the horse owners than Cygames, Cygames just has to enforce it due to the licensing agreement.

Aren't at least some of those horses owned by the Yakuza? Not wanting to piss off the Yakuza is a pretty good reason to enforce that.

I don't think the Yakuza cares. All signs point to this being mostly preemptive because they're concerned the horse owners would refuse to grant licenses.

I was finally able to get Guardian Tales to work ok on an emulator recently, but I have no idea who to use. For the moment Im looking for a storyline team. I have almost all the 2*s and the 3*s I have are Beth, Lilith, Claude, Idol Eva, Croselle, Gabriel, Mayreel, and Oghma. Im guessing I want a tank, a healer, and 2 dps. I have no idea who to use as the healer and dps, especially given chain skills.

Yeah, because Im farming orundum or whatever, and you have to manually refill it. Also 4 dorms isnt enough to just do two check ups since there are more people working than there are resting :(

Also the new Elazul & Blackpearl is pretty neat.
They have skills that lets the paired ally insta-cast and auto-crit their ST right after they subbed out (only if their ST is already full).
Not matter that much if you have been stacking LUK stat, but it increases consistency in dealing damage.

They also come with their own art-correct weapon the 1st time you got them (so Blackpearl carries her large hammer as seen in her art).
Fortunately, it is purely cosmetic.

I'm just too lazy to do it more, even if not efficient and not getting enough orundum.

I haven't updated my Bluestacks 5 in like 6 months, and oh boy I probably should've. It made some of my shit act all weird though but overall performance is vastly improved. Not that I play much on it anymore

Kung Fu Masters Fei and Mei, who I dont have lol. I only have 199 mileage. None of them are 5 star or have their exclusive weapons.

How important are chain skills? I thought they were very important, but the only team recommendation I got elsewhere was Claude, oghma, crossel, karina which is 2 Down->Airborne and 2 Down->Injured since I dont have access to Oghmas other chain skill.

So, personally, i would recommend Claude, Oghma, Crossel, and Karina.
Now you may be wondering, hang on, what? Karina? Isnt she a rare hero?
Yes, in fact she is a rare hero, however, IMO she would be better for this team than gabriel, the other top tier healer.
Now yes, gabriel is a top tier healer, and has a great typing for story, many hard enemies are dark type, meaning that gab being light is nice, but the reason you shouldn't use gab, is because she doesn't synergies with the team, at ALL.
One of the sole reasons gab is used, is because her debuff/support options.
As a healer, miya is the "best" healer in the game, and out-heals every other healer, by a good margin, however, healers like kam and gab are used over miya, is because they have insanely strong debuff/support. Gab in particular debuffs the opponents' light resistance a lot, so she is insane on light teams, but, if there are no dps teammates which are light, that ability is useless. In t100 colo teams, arabelle/oghma dark teams all use miya, or no healer, never gab ( sometimes kamael ).
Karina on the other hand, heals with her main attack, heals with her chain skill, and has a nice revival ability when shes 5*, this is incredible, as healers die quite often, this makes her probably the best 2* healer. However, she party buff makes it so that shes only every good on mono dark, or dark orientated teams, and guess what you've got, yup.
The team beth, lilith, gab, oghma has great team composition, however overall is below average, gab I've already talked about, and your main dps, beth and lilith being melee, makes them very vulnerable to attacks.
Beth is really good in story, because of her ws giving shield, but claude lead and his isnane aoe ws is just something else in story.

That team suggestion isn't bad but seeing as you don't have exclusive weapons if you give your dark heroes light weapons they'll do light damage so it may be better to use Gabriel anyway.

Karina's heals are not very good. If you need a healer I recommend Aoba or Loraine. Gabriel only can heal with her exclusive weapon as a lead character. Her passive heals are very meh. Most people use her for her damage ability.

Got free fully leveled gear in EoM, including 5* ones.

Is Tomo any good?

She's useful as a ST damage dealer who also has some cleave capability (after her UE). Not a meta-defining unit, but still pretty useful from time to time.
