I meant the fog island. I suppose it could apply to Enkanomiya too, though.

I loved the somber vibe of Enkanomiya.

Well hopefully the datamined upgrade materials for Nahida are true, because I farmed everything but the (unreleased) bosses to get her to Lv 90 and 8/8/8. And I've saved 7 resins.

This was the most annoying commission I have ever done.

No, the enemy spawns with treasure chests on this island spawn twice, and the second time is those green chests that leave behind furnishings.

Team Hydro vs Team Cryo

Finally I finished that quest and got the full clearance thing so I can open all those doors.

Mihoyo can you not put key items necessary for exploration behind 10 hour long quests please?

Sorry, no. You must no-life this game until theres nothing left to no-life, and then you must wait for the limited events that we gate behind game progression. Because if you dont no-life it, you dont get to participate in the one-shots.

Nahida prep update:

Got:
92 Intertwined Fates (~10 away from Soft Pity, so at very worst I'll still get Nahida)
9 million Mora
All the Green/Blue/Gold Ingenuity books necessary to 8/8/8 talents (9 / 63 / 30, respectively)
890 purple XP books (420 to go 1-90)
174 Kalpalata Lotuses (168 needed to ascend to 90)

Now all I need is the Dendro Hypostasis (not released) for ascension and the boss materials (probably also not released yet) for talent levels beyond 6.

I saved up 7 resin moon things, which gives 420 total resin - enough to farm the hypostasis ~11x. With an average of 2.5 boss materials per fight, I can reasonably get 28 boss drops. You need 46 to go from 1 to 90, so that's gonna take a couple days of farming even with max preparation. And of course the boss is only once per week.

Skipping Cyno and Nilou so I'll have about 20 more fates by then anyway.
I haven't spent a dime since 3.0 so this has all been through chests and quests.

Fortunately Thundering Pulse (Yoimiya's bow) is about equal to Polar Star, and Skyward Harp isn't far behind either. I kinda want to finally get Polar Star though. Especially since it has so much crit rate.

Weird thing for me is that I keep getting Skyward Harps for some reason, so now I'm at R4. It gets Crit DMG with refinement (and Crit Rate with Ascension) so it winds up being a big stat stick at high refinement.

Since you're talking about refining your Skyward Harp, is it generally better to refine 5* weapons then? As opposed to keeping a couple separate for more than one character usage?

Normally I just refine because it's pretty rare that you'd need the same weapon on different characters, even in the Abyss. The only exceptions I made were for Mistsplitter and Primordial Jade Spear because they're good on anyone who can equip them.

Nahida passive buff changed to 25% of highest EM char, for up to 250 EM onfielder buff.

Nahida burst buffs improved:
(Pyro) 1 character: 11.1% -> 14.9 / 2 characters: 16.7 -> 22.3
(Electro) 1 character: 0.17 -> 0.25 / 2 characters: 0.25 -> 0.37
(Hydro) 1 character: 2.22 -> 3.34 / 2 characters3.34 -> 5.02

Nahida skill nerfed in a very good way.
Tri-Karma Purification Trigger Interval: 1.9s -> 2.5s
Seed of Skandha Duration: 20s -> 25s

Skill follow-up has no ICD.
Skill application value is 1.5U (meaning she is potent at overwriting the element?).

oh thank god these are just super short, if anything at all

So I got dendro ganyu from some free standard banner rolls and now i'm thinking I may not bother rolling for dendro archon and save the rolls i've been earning for another 5 star down the road. Not sure since I have the other 3 archons and an all archon team seems like a fun time

In quicken teams she's a beast, dealing heavy sub-dps.
She's incredible with Nilou by constantly overwriting hydro or carrying the team alone.
She's good whenever dendro is good.

So with the dendro archon buffs is the dendro archon now good
last I heard she was worse than dendro traveller
I know its early on into dendro but is she looking to be BiS for any role? Like venti is the best CC, zong is best shields etc

In quicken teams she's a very powerful sub-dps, because she triggers spread on every skill tick and ticks every 2+ sec or 1.8+ sec.

Nilou bloom team loves her in 2:2 Kokomi carry and 1:3 Nahida carry teams. It sounds like Nahida easily overwrites hydro coz her skill ticks are currently 1.5U application value.

Any onfielder who likes dendro or demands a lot of EM generally also likes Nahida. The 250 EM buff to onfielder is huge.

She's not as versatile as Venti, Zhongli, Raiden, but she's a powerful unit right now.
I figure Nilou C2 + Nahida + Yelan + Kokomi will be completely insane damage output. And you can't go wrong grouping Nahida with the likes of Cyno, Fischl C6, Yae.

Dendro Traveler is really good, to be fair. The best Dendro unit of the current three, at least.

I figure
Nahida > DTrav = Collei.
It's pretty situational, but Nahida's kit is pretty powerful, especially past C1.

If you give her quicken, calculations frequently seem to say 20000-30000 damage every 2sec or so? Being catalyst also means she has unrivaled dendro application, if your team can utilize it.

I like how we can theorycraft for days, but in the end nobody will ever out-DPS Xiangling.

Added to that, they clearly didn't understand what a lack of internal cooldown on elemental application would do for characters like Tartaglia and Xiangling. To be fair, the player base didn't really understand it for about a year either.

But you'll notice they haven't made any characters with similar mechanics ever since then. They deliberately made Ayato's hydro application much slower (he would be so busted otherwise), and Sub DPS characters in particular tend to have less off-field elemental application than before. Hell, Xingqiu applies hydro more frequently than Yelan until her C2, and it's debatable as to whether or not Yelan is actually better than C6 Xingqiu as a support unit (she has better DPS for sure, though).
