Just did chapter 3 where you have to book it past all these level 30+ enemies in Noctilum.

It's super smart game design, imo. Before the game was carefully guiding you through areas with properly level enemies then it quickly reaches you how often you'll be having to traverse super dangerous areas to get to your goal.

you know, I wonder if playing DQ11 before 8 does a disservice to 8. one of 8s major overhauls was the monsters and the animations and I think that sticks around long term for people who played it back when. if you play 11 first, I could see that major innovation feeling like no big deal.

I played 8 before 11, I got about 10 hours into 8 and gave up, whereas I beat 11 on PS4 and Switch.

He was set up to be an awesome final villain.

To be fair, though, his redemption was basically instead of wanting to kill Palps and bring Rey to his side, he instead wanted to kill Palps and bring Rey to his side while holding a blue lightsaber.

I only watched the first new movie and nothing else, and I am in no way a Star Wars fan (I am literally just a Boba Fett fan honestly just give me more Boba Fett somehow), but I find this whole breakdown of the fandom to be pretty unfortunate. Even though I have no investment in this franchise, I find it sad that it's devolved into this giant battlegrounds it's become and I wish that Disney could have created movies that would have pleased everyone.

To me, it seems like the problem starts with that Kathleen Kennedy and the fact that they made a trilogy without any sort of plan in mind. Like, you don't have a plan for a giant story for your trilogy for the biggest IP get you could possibly receive, and as a result it's a fucking mess. Why are people putting so much investment and care into it when even Disney and those in charge of this didn't put any care into these movies? I feel that even those who disagree on the movies could at the very least agree that Disney totally screwed up here in a way that is just embarrassing for a company that did spectacularly well with Marvel.

Counter point: there hasn't been an unquestionably good Star Wars since 1980 so making a good Star Wars may truly be impossible now.

The Iraq War itself was fine and a resounding success. It was everything after that was the issue. We should have had Mission Accomplished and See Ya Later. We worried too much about public opinion than making a sound tactical decision for our own country.

That war was started because Saddam supposedly had WMDs.

He did not have WMDs.

Therefore it was quite the opposite of a success.
