Shouldn't you wait for confirmation before any of this, though? Like, people are already assuming "old characters = bad" without knowing what the older characters entail. If Knuckles shows up in Sonic Frontier in a trailer cutscene I don't think people should be automatically groaning unless you just flat out hate Knuckles. Like, it's one thing to go "Marth sucks. I'm know people hate on Isurd's voice and it's definitely not great but I'm going to say Ghondor has the worst VA in the game since she's the only one who actively flubs lines (including pretty important ones!) with such frequency that it makes me take note of it. Stands out even more because the English VA in this game is generally really good! Having a designated run button (no building of momentum), the jerkiness of changing direction (instead of slightly drifting to the left and right while running when using the thumbstick, Sonic dramatically/awkwardly changes direction), and the parkour isn't used enough or creatively.
