(I'm maybe 2 hours in, probably 1 hour for someone playing a little more efficiently than I am) I think I'm starting to accept the game for what it is. it's not awful. it's just not 2d metroid. it's the first in a line of a new kind of metroid game. But they really kicked it into high gear for the last few missions so overall I enjoyed it.
