Dropped a wooden pallet on the center of my foot once. Thought it was broken, but X-rays showed it wasn't. Still, I couldn't put any weight on it for like two weeks, nor could I wear a shoe on that foot.

Not really. He was 100% going to die in the third movie anyway, but by killing him off in the second movie, they basically robbed the third movie of its villain, which is why they had to bring back Palpatine, no matter how illogical that is.

They offed the main villain of the trilogy in the second movie so now they have to pull out of their ass that the villain of the previous trilogies is still alive for some reason, even though nothing in the previous two movies even suggested that.

I'd say it is. The game isn't groundbreaking, but it's competently made and has some solid production values. You'll get at least 30 hours of playtime out of it as well.

I figured the success of Jurassic World would've caused some resurgence of dino games, but that didn't happen.

For me, it's probably that one time when I broke my wrist playing soccer in gym class in high school. I was the goalie, and this guy who's played soccer his whole life fires this fucking cannonball-like shot at me. I managed to block it, but my hand pretty much went limp immediately afterwards. A trip to the hospital revealed that I actually broke it.

This. Disney was NOT pleased with how EA turned Star Wars into a money-extracting ploy with Battlefront II. EA should consider themselves lucky that Disney didn't just straight-up cancel their exclusivity deal. But you can bet that any EA Star Wars game will be completely microtransaction-free in the future.

A large part of the reason why Solo bombed was because TLJ ruined Star Wars for a lot of people. And as a result, lot of spinoff movies were cancelled.

Definitely. You can clearly tell that they were setting up Kylo & Snoke as the new Vader & Emperor in TFA. Therefore it would make sense that the epic final confrontation with Snoke would take place in the third movie. And then Rian Johnson goes ahead and kills off Snoke in the second movie, leaving the third movie without a logical big bad. Hence JJ Abrams bringing back Palpatine out of nowhere.

Well that's also a problem. The whole plot is basically a bunch of "it just had to happen this way" forced contrivances to drive things forward that don't really hold up to scrutiny. Like... we're all supposed to be angry at Poe for disobeying orders even though what he did prevented catastrophe? Our experience as the audience doesn't line up with what the story is trying to make us feel.

Similarly, we're supposed to believe that Del Toro, the master hacker, could break out at any moment but was just chilling in his cell for however long which just happens to work out for rose/finn because they stupidly parked on a beach even though presumably the gambling planet had regular parking (and there was no reason to do so) so they missed their shot at getting their original target. It's just dumb decisions followed or preceded by perfectly good/bad circumstances that happen to line up to push the plot forward, even though that entire sub-plot ultimately had no impact on the ending anyway.

The whole casino planet subplot was nothing but unnecessary nonsense.

I mean there's a lot wrong with the movie, but Holdo was one of the few parts that didn't suck. People just got mad that Poe wasn't the hero, but that was the least of the problems with Poe.

Holdo was a completely unnecessary character though. Everything she did could've been given to Admiral Ackbar instead. Then he would've at least gotten a heroic sacrifice rather than just getting sucked out into space.

How is it a waste of resources if it would get way better results than by using those resources as intended? One droid and one cruiser can't possibly take out an entire fleet of Star Destroyers the regular way.

eh, I still hate the entire prequel trilogy with a passion. i'm not one of the people who thinks it has much or any redeeming qualities.

Revenge of the Sith is nowhere near bad. And Attack of the Clones has good moments (everything involving Jango Fett, the Geonosis sequence). Hell, even the podrace from Phantom Menace was pretty cool.

Absolutely not. That whole sequence trivializes every space battle in the franchise. Since hyperspace ramming is apparently a thing that decimates an entire fleet when used, why has it never been used before? Why didn't the Rebels just ram a ship into the Death Star? Or against the Star Destroyers above Hoth while they were trying to escape?

Hardly. Virtually all of the Jedi that went into the Geonosis arena in Episode II were killed by the battle droids. And they didn't fare much better against the clones once Order 66 was activated.
