This is a shockingly myopic view of the proxy war that's been orchestrated by Iran for the last two decades.

In a broad sense, there are two types of nations in the Middle East. Stable nations with functional economies who collaborate with the international community. This is your Saudi Arabias, Israels, Iraqs, Qatars, Omans, ect.

Then there are you broken states run by fundamentalist military juntas or terrorist organizations. They have nearly non-existant economies and their only significant interactions with the international communities is exporting raw resources and taking international aid. This is your Yemens, Syrias, Jordans, ect.

Essentially every stable country hates Iran, and every broken country works with Iran. This is because Iran has been funnelling tons of weapons, ammo, and military advisors into the hands of the absolute worst actors in basically every cobflict zone in the Middle East, including Hezbollah and Hamas, which is directly relevant to Israel. Iran is an enemy to stability and peace in the region. There is simply no other way to put it.

Iran has essentially been firing rockets into Israel for literal decades now. Think of all the Israeli deaths that Iran is directly responsible for over the years. If there was no Iran, there would be no massive Hamas terrorist attack. They would not have had the weapons and training necessary to embolden them so, and the likely explicit backing of Iran behind the scenes. While I fundamentally disagree with Israel's approach to Palestine, it is utterly absurd and hypocritical to look at this situation and say "Well, Israel should have just not provoked Iran!"

It it by definition not a tautology because it's not a truth statement. It couldn't be a tautology if it wanted to. It's an equation. You are free to enter any values into and you'll get the output. How useful or valuable the equation is to predicting reality is an entirely different matter.

It's roughly 300x more difficult, statistically speaking.

If you actually loved music I don't see why you'd stop making music just because people make fun of you for being fat. You could always keep making music and... stop putting yourself out there constantly. There are other ways to make music other than marketing yourself as a brand. Go ask.... 99.8% of other musicians how they do it.

As long as they follow the source material they do a good job. It's when there is no more material left to adapt that they ruin things.

There is no way they could "follow the source material" for 3 Bodies Problem. I haven't seen the series yet but I'm willing to bet there is a great deal of recontextualizing, reordering, and assumptions made to fill out the narrative for a more visual medium. For instance, how do you give the exposition of the Sophon's 11 dimensional proton sized quantum super computer to a TV audience? I'm probably hyperbolizing, but it felt like 30 pages worth of dialogue beating you over the head with computer science and theoretical quantum physics. I'm very science literate and even that had me taking a break to get my thoughts in order when reading it. 98% of TV audience will just become frustrated or confused as soon as they start talking about the 4th spatial dimension if they go by the original material.

For a FWB thing mine was 10 years younger. She was fed up with college guys who didn't know what they were doing, lol.
