Death's Door (PC)

In the shitty E3 that we had this year, there were just a few games I was interested in. This is one of them. So I knew I would play this at some point.
It's a very nice indie game. Great atmosphere, combat is super fluid and fantastic, great level design, puzzles and bosses. Story is whatever. Feels like a faster 2D Zelda
Too bad it isn't more popular, but I guess being Microsoft exclusive is to blame. I expect it to explode in popularity when (and if..) it comes to the Nintendo Switch
Main negative point is that it lacks a map design so trying to 100% guideless is a pain in the ass and in the end I gave up and used a guide

Blaster Master Zero 3 (PC)

Hmmm kinda forgettable. Felt shorter (despite my playtime, half of it is idle imo) than the previous two and also less areas, bosses etc
I dunno it felt like the game was made just to finish the story and that's it
Well the story was like the rest of the series, kinda nonsense bullshit, but the ending was satisfying I guess
And still it's a Inti Creates game so it was fun anyway

Kinda 6/10ish

The game has it's ups and downs, but at the end I think it was pretty good
Not a top tier Ace Attorney game by any means, but much better than say...Apollo Justice

Nier Automata (PC)

It's actually a replay, played it once before in 2017 when it came out but it was a pirated copy.
Decided to buy it after I played Replicant and this time go for all achievements.
I must say...it really loses it's charm in a second playthrough. I was never a fan of the gameplay of Nier games, and since atmosphere is everything to me...a second playthrough is less enjoyable.
Also, difficulity is even worse than Replicant. In Replicant "Hard" had enemies being bullet sponge but at least they didn't OHKO (well..most of the times). So here I decided to play on Normal and it was too easy while hard was too hard
Losing chips if you die before recovering your body doesn't help either

Wish I could experience this game for the first time again because it was truly magical. Second time...not so much

So the doctor did some basic tests and said everything is fine
But he referred me to lungs CT scan and a breathing test just in case
Today I had a breathing test and the doctor said the results are good
And next month (god damn it) I am going back to the first doctor and show him the scan results
And if he tells me that the scan results are good too...then wtf
I am not imagining this. Also I am totally not sure if I want them to find something wrong or not
Like...I know there is something wrong. But if they can't see it maybe it isn't that bad and will pass?
Or they just suck?
Was at that doctor last week
Looked at my CT scan and my lungs fuction test results...and told me everything is fine and we are done here and I don't need to come back :|

That's...sucks, really. I have something and they can't find it. I am glad that I am feeling much better and I feel like I am gradually recovering, but I am still not perfect. Something is still amiss

Right now my symptoms are-
Can't put much stress on my upper back. Can't sit on a chair while my back is pushed into it (i.e when I put my legs on something). I also can't sleep on my back, only on the side. When I put stress on my back I feel it's harder to breath

And the much more alarming
Once per week, or two per week, I am becoming exteremly tired out of nowhere. It's super sudden and random. This isn't the head being tired, or the legs, or the eyes, it's the whole body.
And the problemetic part? when it happens I feel like my breath is weaker, like my body is entering into a power saving mode. When it happens I just go to sleep, but this week it happened while I was at work at it was so hard to fight it. Passed after half an hour

Nier Replicant (PC, Steam)
Time played is probably not 152 hours like it shows, but not far off. I would assume 120 or so

I am..torn. It's pretty much exactly like Automata in terms of strong and weak points. Everything about the presentation is top noth - atmosphere, music, characters, story, world building etc.
But the gameplay itself sucks. Side quests are mostly a chore. Far too repetitive. You end up visiting the same 15 areas again, and again, and again because of the side quests and because of having to go through the game 5 times.
Playing this on normal is too easy, playing this on hard (which I did) is annoying - it isn't hard, it just takes forever because enemies are bulletsponge. I almost fell asleep fighting against the Orb boss in the Aerie, it took forever!!

Some achievements are also pain in the ass - upgrade all weapons is a massive grind that can take 20-30 hours depending on your luck. Some items drop rate is so damn low that you can grind for two hours and not get a single one

But..again - the story makes it worth playing. The major plot is pretty much incomprehensible nonsense, that I assume maybe if I played Drakengard I would have understood it a little better..but maybe not. But still, even though many things are left unexplained, there are so many fantastic moments and emotions in every scene that is impossible to not love it.
Kaine and Weiss, that I didn't like at first, also grew on me and I like them a lot
Giving you more details in future playthroughs and letting you understand the language of the shades and makes you realize that you are kinda the bad guy was also a nice touch

Whoa there buddy. I looked into it for like 15 minutes, so I really have no idea if it's as worthwhile an investment as it seems at face value. And I won't buy until I do. I just figure between the insane potential of the technology and the hype, it's got a good chance of success. Most of my big trades have been in stocks that have both of those things going for them.

Speaking of which, ENZC is back on its quest for a dollar. I knew I should have thrown 10k back at it, but I was hoping it would get back down to where I first bought in.
Oh, no, don't take it personally. I just hate the stock

As it's a Israeli company I was following it for some time and I read people experience with it. Granted that was the "old NNDM" before they decided to leave our stock exchange. The day the left they announced some kind of a deal and went +300%. Fast forward a few months later, ARK invested in them and yeah...up a lot more since

Anyway, as you said you looked at their graph you probably noticed something - this stock, before the last few months, went -99% in each year. The market didn't believe in them and rightfully so. Look at their earnings. They barely make any money and they spend so much...on what?
They also have plenty of cash on hand because they keep making offerings and dilluting the shares
Looking at the graph and thinking the stock went up 1600% is not telling the whole story.
In the last few months they have made at least!! 5 underpriced offerings while the stock price kept climbing up.
They are, right now, the 18th highest Israeli company by market cap
They don't deserve it. They don't deserve even being 180th highest.

Proper Disclosure - I was never invested in NNDM and was never hurt by it so none of my hate towards it is because of a personal loss or whatever
It just smells scam

Have you all looked at NNDM? 3D printing company that specializes in circuit boards. Cathie Wood and Ark are invested and very bullish, though I imagine lots of hedgies have been taking profits recently. Looking to get in under 10.

Check the six month chart and you'll see the epic run its been on, so could certainly pull back more than that. But it feels like one of the safest risk/reward plays for a big winner long term. I need to spend significantly more time researching their current standing, but could be my favorite long term pick besides AVCT for now.
Wow this post

You kniw what. Fuck the market I hope it crash and burn
Calling NNDM "one of the safest risk/reward plays" is the very definition of a bubble
This company is a scam. I rather invest in Nikola rathet than NNDM. I feel ashamed that it's a Israeli company. It's more shitty than the shittiest biotech company

I currently have $30k in my Interactive Brokers account. I have been thinking of just...spreading this on a various stocks I found interesting
But I am debating a few things -
How much should I put in each stock? 1500 for 20 companies? 2000 for 15 companies?
Is my portfillo diversed enough? this is mostly tech and I don't have any energy, healthcare, oil, travel stocks
Since most of them are tech, maybe it's just better I go for a ETF?
And the main problem with this method - I pay $5 commissions per action. whch would mean if I go by the "1500 for 20 companies" route, I will pay $100 just in purchase commissions, and $100 more to sell everything...
So maybe going for the ETF route is better? but if I am going for long term (say, one year) maybe those commissions are not really bad

Anyway those are the stocks I thought about, by order of how likely they are to be in my portfolio and my opinions on them-
AAPL - A must. Currently on a downtrend but I have no dobuts it will recover
MSFT - Same as Apple
AMZN - Another must, but the stock price is too high for my "2000 per company" rule. Still, I am sure that when (and if) they announce a split, it will rise a lot
KO - I expect it to recovery nicely in 2021 as more countries will go back to normal. Also, dividends
NKE - I underestimated this company but it's clear that it's a monster. A must have
GOOG - Disappointed in earnings half a year ago but then killed it lately. Future is bright
NIO - Super overpriced. But so is Tesla. and doesn't look like Tesla is a bubble to be about to burst. I believe Nio will be able to make a run similar to Tesla at some point
DIS - Streaming service pretty much priced in but it didn't stop Netflix from reaching new heights every damn quarter earnings. And Disney streaming service sounds even more promising
NVDA - Very very expensive. But we need to get used to that. NVDA is the future of chip making while companies like Intel are long behind
AMD - Same as NVDA
FB - I don't trust Facebook so much. It looks like regulators can fuck them up every day. But still, it's a good stock..for now
CRM - Need to see how it performs in it's earning this week
NICE - Killed it this quarter but provided weak forecast so the stock took a nosedive. Still, I believe it will continue going up
PLTR - Too volatile, but plenty of people are bullish on it and there is a lot of hype for it. Hype stocks usually deliver. Usually.
BABA - Alibaba is a strong company and it would have been higher if it wasn't a chinese company. I know I have Nio quite high up but it the CCP doesn't hate Nio as it hates BABA
SEA - New to my list, only learned about a week ago and nobody talks about it. But holy hell they are insane. But probably profitting to much from COVID and....it's risky.
V - Super boring stock from what I can see, but it's consistent, so yay

Stocks I am very much debating about, going into the "probably not..."-
PTON, ZM, SQ, RH, NFLX - I feel like all of those are "covid stocks" and that they peaked. NFLX might be an exception but I don't believe in it. Especially now that Disney is in the picture

Stocks I am following but are super bubbly-
TSLA - The mother of all bubbles. The market doesn't think so. But if it burst and I am inside I will hate myself forever because "I knew it would happen"

WIX - The Israeli's company with the highest market cap? really?

FVRR - Will probably dethrone WIX at this rate. Very unjustified

Other notable stocks I have been thinking about-
PYPL, EBAY, ADBE, LMND

Are you trying to pay in full for the apartment? What about getting a mortgage? You have more than enough for a down payment (by US standards, I don't know what the rules are in Israel).

As for investing, yeah, you aren't a very good trader. I know it's hard psychologically because it involves risk, but you could try investing - meaning holding stocks for extended periods of time. Maybe think about it this way - if your money is not invested in stocks or real estate or something then it's invested in fiat currency. And as you've seen, investing in USD is pretty bad. Based on what you've been saying recently about only being willing to risk small amounts of money in stocks and that only for short periods of time, I think the reality may be that you have been very heavily invested in USD (or shekels, not sure if your brokerage is storing the money in USD).

It's critical not to beat yourself up over "breaking even." Like if you had made $1,420 more so that you were $10 in the green would it make a real difference? In the grand scheme of things, really it doesn't. Investing in a long term thing, and it's asking too much to expect to make money immediately. There is also a real risk that you won't even make money in the long term, but that risk is why investing is on average profitable.
No, I do not plan to pay in full. I mean it would be ideal, but this is so far away and would require me to live 10 more years with my parents and I am already far too old for this to be "normal"
I could live in a rent but I hate paying for temporary stuff like this (yes I know that probably no one will agree with this and I am not going to defend this, this is just my personal stance)
And yeah, I could take a mortgage right now. As it only requires 25% of the price of the apartment, and as long as I just go for a 4 rooms apartment in a decent location, this should be enough
But the mortgage would bury me and I prefer it to be smaller

Enter 2019 Nanis a novice trader that pretty much doubled his salary in the stock market, sometimes even earned his monthly salary in a single day, even lost $1500 when he panic sold in market open the day after Soleimani was assassinated only to see that by the end of the day everything recovered and went like "heh, no biggie, I will make it back this week"
And yeah this dream of earning a lot of money from the stock market looked real to me
Then 2020 happened

And it still pains me to this day that if I just invested about 1/4 of my money into TQQQ at market bottom, this day I could have paid for an apartment in full
But instead I listened to bears that said the the market crash is not over yet. That it's just a correction and a second crash will come any second

And now I don't go in either because we are after such a long bull run that everyone screams that a crash is coming

I don't want to be a day trader I want to be a investor but even that sounds like a bad idea at this height

Yeah everything is a mess sorry for the rant I am just confused and don't know what to do

In the last few days I was making a excel sheet, trying to figure out whether I actually gained or lost money in my whole adventure in the stock market.
It wasn't a simple "I put $50k into Robinhood and now it's $52k so I gained $2k" because I have 3 different accounts and need to take into consideration stuff like currency converation, the time I transferred stocks from my bank account to a new broker and so on

The end result was something I was afraid of. To know that I actually lost money in the stock market
Since I bought my first stock in July 2019...I lost $1400
The true culprit is the dollar tanking. As it results in a $4410 loss. Otherwise, I would have been $3000 in the green
So..yay >_>

I am debating what I should do. I am clearly not good at this. A fucking year and a half and this is my result? what a disgrace. Novice traders that only created their account a few months ago already made a thousands dollars profit and I can't even have a single digit profit
I am spending so much time in this. In Whatsapp, Telegram groups, Internet forums (like this stock topic), WSB and so on. All of this for what?
Not to mention the emotional impact this has on me

And yet...I know the feeling of making tons of money on the stock market. I did it. It felt good. I want to feel it again and I want to make money again. I know it has the potential and I need it if I ever want to buy myself a apartment someday.
A $40k income in a year when a decent apartment here costs $500k (and I am not even halfway there) because Israel sucks and we have a real estate bubble for years now that the government doesn't give a shit it and the prices keeps climbing even despite fucking COVID

I don't fucking know what to do

I call bullshit on this being a social movement. This was just a facade trying to not make it sound like market manipulation, trying to hide behind "a noble cause"
Social movement can never happen in the stock market by nature. Regular people can post bullshit on the Internet as much as they want and usually suffer no consequences for this. But buying stock as part of a "social movement" can cause them to lose a lot of money, and nobody cares enough about this

With all due respect to Wix, this just came out from nowhere. Just a year ago the company was worth like 1/3 of what it is now. And that was still too much for a company operating on a loss

XB2's visuals and especially character designs I think are just pretty awful all around (and I know they got some hentai artist to do the Blades, but even the humans all look pretty lame, especially the main dude who is like a shitty Dark Cloud 2 reject) , which is a big reason I just never wanna touch that thing. Even if the story is actually good, with the characters looking like they do I can't get invested.
What the fuck
Is this a real in-game model??

Hm, seems like there was a leak a couple hours ago if anyone's curious:

Looking at u/PracticalBrush12 history, it seems like he leaked a lot of stuff before too. He has a near perfect track record

Going to follow him in the next few days to see what is going to be announced in Pokemon Day

how the fuck are they charging more than it cost when it originally released

theyve gone mad with power
Switch prints money

Honestly we should say thanks they released 3D All Stars as a $60 collection and not $60 each
They could have done that
They are crazy like that

So uh...ended up disappointed after all :(

After a year and a half without a direct I expected like..I dunno, at least 2 games I care about?
I guess SS for Switch is still a win...but it was something I "needed" more than something I really "wanted"

+ Skyward Sword, as mentioned above
+ I liked the fakeout of announcing those Xenoblade characters for Smash out of nowhere
+ Monster Hunter Rise looks great (but I don't care about the series and it was already announced)
+ That Square Enix strategy game looks very polished and I am sure it will be good. (but strategy games are less my type)

Everything else.... don't care about it at all/didn't like

Waiting for the Japanese Direct to be uploaded

So they wanted you to feel like Splatoon 3 is going to be different, like a adventure type of game but then it's Splatoon 3 surprise

I don't know if SS is good or not
But it's the only single player Zelda game I couldn't play and now I can so I am happy about this
