As it's a Israeli company I was following it for some time and I read people experience with it. Granted that was the "old NNDM" before they decided to leave our stock exchange. The day the left they announced some kind of a deal and went +300%. Fast forward a few months later, ARK invested in them and yeah...up a lot more since

Anyway, as you said you looked at their graph you probably noticed something - this stock, before the last few months, went -99% in each year. The market didn't believe in them and rightfully so. Look at their earnings. They barely make any money and they spend so much...on what?
They also have plenty of cash on hand because they keep making offerings and dilluting the shares
Looking at the graph and thinking the stock went up 1600% is not telling the whole story.
In the last few months they have made at least!! 5 underpriced offerings while the stock price kept climbing up.
They are, right now, the 18th highest Israeli company by market cap
They don't deserve it. They don't deserve even being 180th highest.

Proper Disclosure - I was never invested in NNDM and was never hurt by it so none of my hate towards it is because of a personal loss or whatever
It just smells scam

Just because their stock was bad before doesn't mean it will stay that way in the future. Maybe they're getting to the point where 3D printing can start to make money soon?

I think the thing Nanis doesn't understand is that offerings aren't necessarily bad

You need to figure out why the offering was made and what it was being put towards. Some companies will put out an offering and it will overall make me bullish on the stock because I know they have a goal for that money and aren't overly concerned with their stock price tanking short term because it should go up with that raised money

But then you have companies like CTRM which just spam them to no clear end to extort investors

Proper DD involves figuring out which it is

I mean I'm not bullish on Nio but there could be plenty of differences

Different markets mostly-- if you're bullish on China as a growing consumer sector for EVs Nio would likely get more of that benefit than Tesla as time goes on (even though Tesla does currently beat Nio in sales). Nio also has a battery subscription gimmick which may be something that's smarter.

Anyway I think it's a good question to ask as I'm curious myself (I like both Li and Xpeng more currently, largely because of their smaller market caps but for other reasons as well) but I don't think this is a good way to phrase the question.

Speaking of 3d printing, my buddy that heard about GME suddenly wanted in on the stock market came to me and I gave him a lot of info on how it all works and what my process is, and got him set up with a broker. Then he came to me with a reddit post he had found that was pumping Desktop Metal (DM). He said it's the next big thing and asked if he should invest. I told him it set off all my red flags for a pump and dump and gave him like 5-6 questions I would be asking to make sure this is a real company and that it's not a scheme to trick me into buying it before I could consider buying. He got pretty glum and left after that.... I'm pretty sure he was expecting me to instantly do his research on the company for him right then and there... I guess telling him exactly what to look for to not get taken advantage of his first time out wasn't enough

I should look into that company... and find out if he jumped in.

Been placing buy orders on my stocks that are red since market open. Didn't get to opening a position in DNN unfortunately. Sort of frustrated that I had an order to buy more MILE at $15.45 that didn't execute even though the stock traded at $15.25 after I submitted it and now it's at $17.27. I guess when something is moving super fast like that a market order could be better.

We are all a little late on their initial spike, but if their uranium mine is as promising as it sounds, this could easily reach its 2007 heights ($10) within a year or two.

Most of my DNN was bought around here actually. It was just the during the first surge so because they were options I did overpay since IV was higher.

Man that would be a huge loss if he did. Days like today are exactly why you don't throw 70k of your portfolio at a single stock at a completely random time. Felt so good to have 30k extra cash to throw at some juicy dips today.

Still holding out hope that the big boys, AMZN, TSLA, and AAPL fall way more before I enter into those.

Yeah this exact thing happened with me and AMC today. I bought the dip earlier regretting I didn't buy back at 5.50. Already sold my whole position for profits though. Likely to buy back below 7 if it happens.
