Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Date Beaten - 02/18/2020
Score - 7/10
Achievements - 80%

Hmm I think it was the weakest of the trilogy. I was not a fan of most of the game being set in the same village. Also terrible performance on PC for unknown reason, it lagged in the village a lot (I have more than the recommended specs to play this game..)
Story was also pretty weak, but I most say I liked Lara, I will miss her
As for Achievements I am missing some missables that require playing again, and I don't want to bother with them. Also missing speedrun on tombs, i'll pass

Warcraft III Reforged
Date Beaten - 03/28/2020
Score (As a standalone game) - 8/10
Score (As a remake) - 1/10
Achievements - I beat all the game on Hard so I unlocked all the "beat X on hard" portraits

The hate for this "remake" is well deserved. Blizzard lied and this is just a lazy remake
However, this is still Warcraft 3, for good or for bad. In my opinion it looks better than the original, some units might be uglier but in general it's better
But things like Upkeep aged terribly (and honestly they weren't good to begin with) and the pathing is inexcuseable. The fact that they didn't even bother to try and fix the pating is so horrible
But still, if you ever want to play WC3 campaign again, I feel like playing it in Reforged is the best option. I can't say anything about the multiplayer experience, I don't care about it

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Score - 7.5/10
Achievements - 31/37, missing stuff like beat the game under 4 hours, beat the game without dying etc

The game is pretty fun but I feel like it's too complicated for it's own good
Even the first dungeon was kinda complex and I just...wanted the game to start on a more simple side, you know?
It's kinda like if the Forest Temple was the first OOT dungeon instead of the Deku Tree
Anyway, it's by far less linear than the previous game, more times you get lost, side quests, skills, NPCs to talk with, collectibiles...it's a mess
Bosses on hard takes a little too much time to kill and fuck the last escape sequence seriously. But besides all my complaints the core gameplay is still Ori and still good! so it deserves a 7.5 score

Resident Evil 3 Remake
Date Beaten - 04/13/2020
Score - 5/10
Achievements - 100% completion

The game is..sadly, pretty disappointing. I can't get used to how much linear the maps are, they are kind of making me clausterphobic!
Nemesis boss fights are boring and uninspired
The city is too short and too small, they removed tons of parts from the original and it's just...wasn't a very good game
It honestly feels like "we have the engine, we have most of the assets, let's make something quick and be done with it"

Dai Gyakuten Saiban

Achievements - none

It...wasn't very good. The first case sucked ball. The third and final cases were good. Second and fourth were "Fine"
Overall second weakest Ace Attorney game after Apollo Justice (yes, I enjoyed PW vs PL more. And I do like AAI!)
The main characters are pretty great so at least there is that. But the murder methods and figuring them out were just dumb

Holy shitttt this game is a mess. It aged worse than a fucking milk
I actually played this game in the past, made it to the last mission and gave up because it was stupid. But that was before Youtube was a thing so nowadays I can just see a video to see how to cheese the final mission and beat it easily
Anyway the only reason I played this again is because I want to play Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 (2018) which I never played before. Also, I never beat Contracts, made it only halfway or something, so time to do a series marathon!
Anyway game is a mess. AI is bugged. Sometimes you kill a guard and the one behind him doesn't notice anything. Sometimes the other guard is in "panic" because he heard a scream. And sometimes he already points a gun at your head from the moment you started killing the guard. And we are talking about enemies that are standing at the same spot every single time...they are not random.
Also, you can't save. If you mess up it's all over. Now granted for some games it's fine, but not for this game. Some missions are too long and consist of running a lot in a empty space for 3 minutes (like the jungle mission) and sometimes you need to follow a guard for 2 minutes or wait for him to come
And...only Hitman 2 started with the whole "silent assassin" thing. Sadly in Hitman 1 they expect you to gun down multiple enemies sometimes, instead of being stealthy

Shovel Knight - King of Cards
100% save file, all feats, all challenges (also turned out Specter of Torment got 5 more challenges in some patch a few months ago so I did them too)
Fantastic fantastic fantastic
Hated the card game sometimes but once you learn it...it's passable.
I mean, it's good, but I don't like card games.
Played the 3DS version so now Showdown for me and I don't feel like double dipping
Kinda sad to miss Shovel Knight for the next few years but oh well it was a great experience

Just finished Sword. Right in time for the Wild Area events changes, as I need to get Sword exclusives with HA and now having both Coalossoal and Flapple with increased spawns is going to make it much easier
Then only Machamp remains

If only Pokemon HOME came out today it would have been perfect

OK look, when I bought Pokemon Sword I knew fully well that I am doing this just to get Zacian and a easier access to Gmax Flapple, Machamp and Coalossal
But I also knew I am getting as a "bonus" two different gym leaders...and I expected two different gym missions
But no, the Fighting Gym mission is the exact same as the Ghost one but with a different background color and textures

I think I give up on the Flame Orb
Wasted the entire Saturday trying to get one, and nothing. People keep saying that inviting Leon helps the odds, but I have been inviting him since the beginning. I have only tried inviting others a few times and not invite anyone, and in the 5 times I choose to not invite anyone, I actually got the hands-waving animation twice and got myself a Toxic Orb and Iron Ball
It's totally random, imo

I am pretty sure that Gamefreak will realize that it's stupid to keep such an important item locked behind fucking RNG and will give it out as a serial code gift (like the Level Ball) or a increased drop chance from event raid
So it's not worth the time..for now

And with the BP you get from doing this + Master Ball Rank in doubles, I had enough BP to buy at least one of every item in the shops
Now I only need Toxic and Flame Orbs to complete my Itemdex and then I am done with those games forever (well, or until Home comes out..or new event raids..)

I have yet to buy anything from the Epic Store
I mean, I am always on the "Epic sucks and fuck them for making exclusives a thing" but it's been too long and I don't see Steam doing anything to make up for it, so I am tired of supporting the losing side, you know?

And the $10 off of a game that is already on sale is too tempting...
But I am also a sucker for achievements and until Epic do something about it I am not interesting in buying a game, if I can't have achievements then I can have other ways to get those game..

Also, totally wanted Borderlands 3. But I know that I will want all the DLC. And the season pass is fucking $50, no thank you. I will wait a few months/years or whatever, this price is insane

A boss rush of all the bosses in the game with a non-upgraded Nail, 4 life bars, no charms and one soul bar. And to really really 100% it? beat it without getting hit once

As a fellow completionist, I feel you
Personally I aim for the "middle ground" - I will try to 100% the game, but if something is going to be insanely long and not worth it, I am going to suck it up and give up on doing it

Take San Andreas for example. I did everything needed to get a 100% in the stats. But there was also something called "Pilot Ranking" which levels up depending on how much time you fly a plane
Reaching the top rank takes...30 hours..of doing nothing but flying
This is a pure waste of time and I decided not to do it.

This year I also did a Resident Evil series marathon.
In Revelations, I only made it to something like level 25 (out of 50) in Raid Mode, because this is such a grindfest
Revelations 2 is even worse, to actually 100% Raid Mode, you need to get to level 50 with every character (and there are 12 or 15, I think)
Doing more than 100 hours of pure grinding? no, thank you
I do have every achievement in Revelations 2 though

I am playing on handheld mode and I never had any problem with the Wild Area
The only problem is when you are online
I know it's not a solution but you can enjoy the Wild Area in offline mode

I mean sure I am not going to defend the shitty online but...it can be a non-issue

Picked Clefable - Clefable can learn every move it previously could, with the addition of -

Life Dew - One of four non-exclusive new moves, the other of which are Body Press, Breaking Swipe and Steel Beam
Mega Punch - Was not a TM ever since Gen 1, but Clefable could learn it back then
Mega Kick - Was not a TM ever since Gen 1, but Clefable could learn it back then
Imprison - Was never a TM
Retaliate - Was not a TM in Gen 7 only, Clefable could have this move before
Draining Kiss - Was never a TM
Baton Pass - Was never a TM
Ally Switch - Actually was a TM, but Clefable couldn't learn it before

So yeah is it really hard to look at all the 4 new moves and whatever amount of moves that turned into TMs/TRs and then look at each Pokemon family and see if they can learn this move or not? how much time do you think it takes??

I was enjoying it a lot for the first half (despite being quite disappointed about the Dex cut), but then a little after halfway through it becomes amazingly obvious that they were told the game needed to ship in time for the holidays and had to cut probably like 50% of the planned content for the second half of the game. In a particularly bad example, the town for the 7th gym is literally just a Pokecenter and the gym.

Also Ballonlea looks pretty but only has...two houses
