None of the megas have won any of these polls. No wild Pokemon battles, no Safari Zone, even simpler difficulty, probably no Sevii Islands, no connectivity to past games, sounds like possibly no connectivity to future games... But I am pretty happy that Vileplume, one of my fav gen1s, was the last one standing. I don't even hate Gen 1's Pokemon at all. Most of them are Pokemon that I am neutral towards and there's nothing in Gen 1 that I could actually say that I hate. There's only a very small number of Gen 1's that I actually like such as all of the Eevees, Mew, Chansey, Lapras, Vulpix, and Ninetales. Since I've played through all of the generations of games, I'm familiar with every single Pokemon created up to this point. As a result, it's much harder for me to appreciate the Gen 1 Pokemon because I've exposed to them so much over the history of the series.
