I'm surprised Pokemon Scarlet/Violet is losing today's poll since it is a major mainline game that kicks off a new generation.

We already had a Portal playrate poll 5 years ago.

I prefer if Save My Pokemon contests do not have a mix of both Pokemon and human characters. There's enough human characters in Pokemon that we can make a separate contest out of it.

Maybe call it "Save My Favorite Pokemon Trainer" contest (SMFPT), though the contest wouldn't be limited strictly to characters that are trainers (who have their own Pokemon and participate in Pokemon battles). If a character is notable enough in the series without being known as a trainer, there shouldn't be any restriction against them being nominated for entry into the contest. Another potential issue to work out is whether we should allow anime-only characters to be in the contest. Most anime-only characters aren't notable enough to be worthy of a nomination, and I only see Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak having any realistic shot of getting enough nominations to get in.

Cool, this one actually has V-create. There's been event Victini distributions that didn't come with V-create, and since V-create isn't part of its level-up movepool, it can only get the move from an event.

Fidough is a Fairy type dog Pokemon.

When I saw it in the trailer, it didn't give off the appearance of a Fairy type.

Cetitan is an Ice type Pokemon. If they're revealing it this early, it could be a rare example of an early game Ice type.

Well, the leak was correct on the name of the region (Paldea). I've seen that region name mentioned in an earlier leak.

With another age poll completed, the average age of the userbase has increased from 32.55 in the 2019 poll to 35.49 in yesterday's poll. The average date of birth has gone backwards by 36 days from 1/25/1987 to 12/20/1986. This is the first time since the 2006 age poll the average date of birth has gone backwards into the year 1986.

Now that we've gone almost 3 years in between age polls, I hope Allen re-runs other demographic polls such as the continent poll (last run in 2013) and the Male/Female poll (last run in 2014).

The continent poll could be interesting to see again as Europe had already shown signs of trending upwards in the 2013 poll. The Male/Female poll was showing a trend of "Female" slowly increasing in the years prior to 2014, though this is likely from the increase in people identifying as trans (along with the site's static userbase).

Livewire is my favorite flavor, but it's hard to find. It is usually found in the 20 fluid ounce bottles, but I've heard of it being available in cans as well. Though I've never seen a 12 pack of cans in any stores I've been to.

After Livewire, I'd go with Baja Blast and Voltage as my next 2 favorites. Bought a 12 pack of Baja Blast cans yesterday, but I haven't tried out the Baja Blast Mango Gem and Baja Blast Gold flavors yet.

I thought the low total was due to the poll either starting late due to a glitch or extended website downtime, but the poll graphs showed neither one of those was the cause of the low total. I guess the site isn't as hyped for this new "E3 replacement", or that a lot of the site didn't know about this E3 replacement show yet.

As for yesterday's poll, I'm still not quite into the 20+ year group just yet. I first joined in 2003, so I got a little bit less than a year left before I've been here for 20+ years.
