| Lopen 09/21/17 2:43:29 AM #4 | Kinda want 4G on the backup, if I get one, as I may use the fact that I have it to try and convince my mom to get T-Mobile for her phone + internet instead of landline + cable as I think she'd save a lot of money that way and frankly be more happy with that, since you can actually stream quite a good amount with just the $30 plan I've found. Also if I can't convince, having a fully functional backup seems more desirable than not. That phone was the cheapest model I could find glancing around that had it though, so if I want 4G + unlocked + t-mobile compatibility it seems like I'm gonna have to pay a decent sum for it, unfortunately. I'm going to try to fix it by replacing the screen myself, but I'd like to get a cheap stopgap phone in the meantime since the touch screen is totally shot and it's completely unusable right now. Anyone got any recommendations. Obviously needs to be unlocked too as the plan is to just plunk the sim card from my dead phone in it for a bit. Alternatively an upgrade for the Sony Xperia Z3 would be okay I suppose, assuming I can get as good or better specs at a reasonable (<= $200) budget. @Wanglicious plz --- No problem! | Lopen 09/20/17 3:19:44 AM #370 | Ziggler is a waste of potential but I almost feel it's more on him than the company really. There's so much he could have learned to do better at this point, like pacing a match, working a crowd, etc etc and really never has. I don't think he's gotten any better since he first started, and that level just isn't much higher than he is now. Frankly I think his crummy gimmick HAS to be at least partially on him too. Slater's main issue is just not being used enough. I think he's in a good role right now, but never around. He takes second place. Cesaro is in an okay spot. Not everyone can be a main belt guy all the time. I do think with Shield guys now in the tag division that it may be more relevant as we go, and Cesaro getting a world title run someday looks more likely than ever seeing all the former champs crowding the tag division nowadays. Harper seems like the biggest waste to me at this point in time. Dude was getting a following, then vanished off the face of the earth. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Value is put on the venom effect, when in reality, with so many stupid abilities that activate with lower health like Vantage, it's just not all that valuable 2. Debuffing DEFENSIVE stats is basically just more damage in disguise, but put off till the next attack. And it runs into the issue of things like Vantage as well, along with the abundance of movement abilities that can be used to move a unit after it's acted, making your debuff worthless cause you straight up can't reach the unit to counterhit it. And I mean, when Daggers are already playing from behind on attack power, you're often not even gaining damage even after backloading it. Like take Innes for example-- he has a bow that has 14 might, two allies nearby it has 18 might. Meanwhile Silver Dagger+ has 10 might with a -7 def/res debuff. Innes with two allies is basically doing the work of your -7 def/res, but he's doing it right away on his turn. If you made daggers debuff offensive stats for free instead, or have other effects like disabling certain skills, etc etc, the mechanic has potential that they could actually be significantly stronger, but the standard Def/Res debuff is just straight inferior to a higher might weapon, and all weapons will be higher might because they're not daggers. --- No problem! Like being able to one shot mages before they get to hit back is a big deal, particularly if you're opening skirmishes by barely surviving Reinhardt. Kagero of course can do it vs non-squishy mages but Felicia doesn't have the attack-- but Kagero kinda overkills a lot of mages so yeah I think Felicia could probably one shot a lot of em. But Poison Dagger+ doesn't exactly grow on trees and given the heavy horse emblem meta the Poison Dagger has lost a lot of use, so it's not a given it's better. Either way, I look at Silver Dagger and see a weak weapon that happens to be better than two specialized weapons in some cases because they're also weak, but those two specialized weapons at least shine when they're set up to succeed-- can't really say that with Silver Dagger+. It'll do an adequate job, but... you're definitely replacing that once we actually get some good daggers. Not necessarily with the other two unless power creeped versions of them come out. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

I mean obviously it's better to use Innes than either because there are a lot of times where you're not going to need their extra oomph there, but yeah. But yeah some more daggers sure would be nice. I do think Poison Dagger+ and Rogue Dagger+ have uses, and Seashell+ is fairly decent but you'll never get it, but the rest are kinda garbo, and even the "good" ones could use more oomph. IIRC Tristam, when he was able to make it past the early rounds, got some random non-traded support. Dr Cid definitely does. I think Isaaru is really only gaining votes when trading gets more aggressive, or someone's getting cute and troll saving him. As Leon said they can functionally be the same depending on the year, but how they evolve as the contest goes is way different. Basically that difference is subtle if you're not paying a lot of attention-- but it's all about how many will have a guy as a priority one vs how many generally like a guy. Like I do legitimately think X-Death is a lot stronger than he lets on-- he made a run late one year and it wasn't due to a ton of trading, but I'm unreliable and his primary support early, so he ends up getting fluke booted a lot. I think Matthew's Rogue Dagger+ at least serves a niche that no archer currently can as it allows him to boost his defensive stats by 5 more-- if you find a safe attack target before the round or can bait a weaker attacker he's pretty distinctively tanky at the moment. But without Close Counter (and who is dumb enough to scrap their Takumi on Matthew) he's not as reliably proccing his debuffs and self buffs so yeah it's a pretty niche build. --- No problem! In a way the limited pool of what healers can have in the A slot plays to her advantage in that it doesn't seem silly to put SPD+3 in the A slot. I also sealed her for SPD to bump it to 35. You can do this with a +SPD copy of her just as well if you wanna use the A slot for something else (mine is +ATK). Favorite unit bonus, which, unfair on talking the general balance of the unit, but it shall be given it's me who's using her, puts her to 37, which means she's not really at any risk vs mages. General purpose Felicia is better for this specific use for a few reasons, but if you've got a nut who is already focused on Serra she is a bit redundant as the stat spreads are kinda similar. And yeah I can basically do to Brave Lyn what you do to Reinhardt with Matthew. My Matthew is kinda better for what I'm using him for than Felicia as he literally can facetank a group if they come at him right with his skill setup (he has Close Counter + Rogue Dagger + Seal ATK + ATK Smoke soon, which means his 30 base defense is actually plenty to fight a ton of physical attackers), which Felicia would have troubles doing unless the opposition was dragons. This is more non-arena play use talking though-- arena play they function the same, just bait different units. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Normal Matthew is proving to actually be pretty good if built right so yeah I didn't need convincing there I'd consider 5*ing a Felicia if I ever got a good stat combo on the ones I've drawn. That being said Serra's res is pretty ridiculous so I think I can probably do a passable job at what Felicia is doing with her (when are clerics gonna get to use offensive specials tho) --- No problem! I've always kinda liked the guy, have thought he was a very underrated performer in the ring for a long time. Not sure how this plays into his character though. Match quality isn't really a character trait unless you're Dolph Ziggler and you're literally making it your crummy gimmick, unless it's like, the match is better because of Cena's character. Which to be fair, does happen once in a while. Overall I like him when he's just trying to be a cheesy good guy, but only when that isn't the total focus of the show. This unfortunately has historically been very rare. When he is this standard good guy character, he's the focus of the show, and when he's not, he usually descends into this weird hybrid character that constantly into these crummy "worked shoots" where the other guy gives him some soft serve thing about how he's a sell out, and Cena schools them for it. It's just terrible. 3.5/10. Were this "rate the wrestler" he'd be a lot higher. Like 8 or 9. I prefer to have maximum drawing power on the banner I want-- 250 can in theory get you a draw but you only get 7-14 per banner. Pile the tickets high and you get a lot more value draws. That being said, I probably value it at right about 350, which is what the bundle is essentially worth, so the bundle isn't really a deal it's sorta just fund transfer. --- No problem!
