Not really any drama. Ulti dismissing scum reads on him as "I get voted every game cause the same people always vote me" and it launching into a discussion of his play, but I wouldn't call it drama.

That sounds awesome.

Can't wait to be paired with no one cause they don't want to hear me rave about the setup all night.

Yeah full agree. Bully God Chris was much easier to tilt and had worse reads on the whole (which I always felt was Chris's big weakness-- still is but now Id put them above average)

Total package Chris is the best player here though I think he is not the best at any individual element of the game.

And honestly yes I wish the games were more chill here-- weird to hear me say but at this point Im probably one of the nicer players-- just a mirror who will fire back hard if people start with me (which gets me a rep since the meaner people are on the whole delicate for reasons I cant understand). I didn't just pop in to take shots at Crescent, just to say that yeah being nicer than here is probably good and Crescent would have been banned in any community with any sort of behavioral policing.

I feel like on a nicer community my raving theorycrafting would not be met with as much hostility which would be refreshing. I'm not sure I care enough about playing mafia to visit another community though, is more my problem.

In general I wouldn't but I just feel like Tales you've got anime trope characters with dumb voice acting, simple puzzles, fun combat system. If it doesn't click for you it doesn't ever really do anything different. It just does more within those parameters.

(Saying this as someone who loves Tales of Symphonia)

I have no idea why anyone would say keep playing Tales of Symphonia-- the appeal is basically there or not there right away.

Saying keep playing with a souls game seems legitimate though. They're not really my cup of tea but hardly any of the system can be explored in 2 hours.

Well, yeah, it's the lack of build/cohesion issue, not anything to do with Kang. But multiverse and Kang are tied together at this point, unless there's another villain that could take his place. I'm not super familiar with the comics, so I don't have any real idea.

Kang's character can easily be recast as a different basically anyone by the very nature of his origin is kinda the point.

I actually don't see any problem with KANG nor the multiverse stuff. I feel like people have to have a problem with the multiverse stuff to have a problem with him though, right?

Recasting Kang makes his character better imo considering what the character concept is

Don't really think Kang is to blame for anything with the recent MCU woes either. Unless the feeling is we need someone more present and Thanos being background in his build was a thing from a bygone Era.

I've been experimenting with Ebony Maw -> Mystique-> Annihilus. The catch is by turn 5 it doesn't actually matter that much. I think it's too tricksy to be useful. Although Maw himself isn't awful in the junk deck

It does but it specifically does it in the context of a caged animal (not literally caged but kinda just hanging in its own dimension) that eats variants.

To me it's not on brand to just eat whatever it deploys to. There would be different set of rules for it.

She's actually really fun and the only part of FFX-2 that sort of works for me. Just really silly-- I wish they leaned HARD into the vibe LeBlanc gives with Yuna and Rikku. You may say "but Lopen they do" I simply do not agree. We need promos and Rikku and Yuna talking about ~RAINBOW GULLWING JUSTICE~ as they battle Leblanc (who should have been main bad, because the story is dumb). I dunno I guess what I'm saying is FFX-2 is only 9/10 dumb but if everyone was like Leblanc aside from Paine it would be 12/10 dumb which would overflow loop into something good.
