I know Corrik and Death have negative synergy but I am like 95% sure you're both town and much less than 95% on any of FD Chris and Kirby

Players in the last three I would not give a pass in this situation would be like Chris and Lea, and even them would be a stretch to go this far

I don't think anyone else should be considered to risk it as scum tbh

I don't think any of the three profile as the type of player that would find that gambit worth risking

Isquen is a perennial early game mislynch
Corrik literally almost got specialed last game
Death is a conservative player in general

Healthy paranoia is good but you should consider the player first

Corrik is an asset to town if allowed to live sufficiently long
As is Red

You should want them ousted if you think they are scum, not because they're dead weight

Isquen Death and Corrik are confirmed town imo

Leaning town on you too as you've been too willing to gambit your date to break up other ones. Could be an audacious scum play but I think it's a lot and just makes more sense as town

Corrik almost got lynched day 1 last game

I don't think he just rolls the dice as scum here. He had outs. He outright declined pairing with me.

I do not feel the same way. I think a truly paranoid person would pair up earlier than either JC or Lea did and JC didn't seem worried at any point

The only reason I'm not townclearing Chris on similar logic is I could see Chris having the audacity to just risk it.

Also I think we are looking at a 1x1x1 spread here. So many were done early that I don't see scum needing to pair up.

I'll let mzero and Sultan live as ship two. Masterful rebuttal from mzero could not have wanted anything better.

My only question about Dumey's "plan" is when he came up with it. Because Peaf was the one who extended the invitation first, so if it was a trap for Peaf then I would have expected it to have been extended by Dumey. And the date was confirmed with:

I personally do not trust mzero, Sultan. His logic for pairing with you is good but it almost makes too much sense-- it is almost too calculated for a guy like mzero who tends to just kinda gut stuff. He has also been a bit dismissive of attacks on players like Kirby "I see Kirby is being attacked for being Kirby again" while also joining in nitpicking Dumey's post earlier without actually joining in the attack.

Be sure you trust him. I am sure Corrik Death or Isquen will all go to bat for you and you'll not remain on the market for long.

I highly encourage everyone who is remotely distrustful of their partner to break up tomorrow before the final 12 and take one of these three poor souls under their wing.

I also inherently distrust all pairings that were done quickly

For two I think if we disband all pairings you'd find scum quickly by noticing standards or lack thereof in finding mates.

I don't care to shuffle the pairs that much but I do think every person remaining is probably town

The question is do we have scum + town x3 or town + Scum and scum + scum

I would prefer every pair break aside from Lea and JC tbh

It's way harder to get scum day 1 in this format because scum can bodyguard each other and because there are only 20% scum

But that doesn't mean the right play is to just shrug and not try

Ultimately if no one is hunting scum then they can just skate by and bs reasons to trust their mates and subtly guide town towards dead lynches

The game is the same. Scum can be found-- mechanically they are harder to pin down but the only way we catch them into forcing bs reasons to trust each other is by trying to find them.

You do realize we literally just had a game where the top 3 wagons were all scum day 1 right. You're not gonna tell me that was a coincidence.

There are ways to hunt scum day 1. You don't need flips or powers to find scum. I'm reasonably sure I've found at least two scum atm.

So far I'm seeing just the usual Day 1 headless chicken schadenfreude going on. Ulti taking FD's joke too seriously, Lopen raising suspicions over the usual analytical people poring over this game's unique mechanics, Peaf coming in surprisingly aggressive, Dumey doing Dumey things, etc.

Kirby has had a lot of non commital posts like this one Ulti posted. A lot of his stuff has been just talking.

Granted that's Kirby most games but yeah I don't know he seems more passive than usual as far as actual suspicions go. Lot of talk about the format and stuff minimum actual suspicions given.

For a good example of why to suspect beyond Ulti's post cited I don't know the point of the shipping angle-- it doesn't really seem useful. Feels like a way to fake being involved without actually adding much.

I also think there could be an interesting play where FD breaks up with Kirby and dates Isquen instead. And final 3 is Lopen/Kirby/Chris. Make Lopen either fight for his preferred lynch between the two of them, or if Lopen can't get through to either of them, they just pair up and doom Lopen. That could be a very spicy end of day.

In theory scum could immediately kill someone who claimed something juicy in private so definitely be careful. If you're going to full claim do it at the last moment.

And Death I will consider you in the lead at the moment but I am more interested in Peaf and Sir Chris townreads (or better multiple) I think. Mostly because Dumey seems to have people openly on both sides.
