Your the first person I've ever heard who cared about the writing of an FPS campaign, and that's probably why you've never known you were in the minority. No one is talking about that, everyone is talking about how fun it is.

It's not really that I care about good or bad writing, but Titanfall 2 takes the cake. I remember towards the end there's a scene where some guy is dying, I don't even remember if he's good or bad, and he's just saying random generic lines and says the name of some planet and I was like "this means nothing to me lol".

I did have fun and will say it's worth $5 though, especially if you can play online.

Wow so I'm in the clear minority here. I found the campaign enjoyable, it had a few fun parkour segments and it was reminiscent of a Gundam game at times, but it had hands down some of the worst writing I've ever experienced in any media. And the whole thing is pretty linear... I think the only reason people like the time traveling level so much is because it stands out from the rest of the game, but it's not even really anything that outstanding :\

Is this an ongoing problem? I was thinking of grabbing a copy on steam.

So far I've played it about 15 hours, and it's crashed twice on me. The first time was a clean CTD, just restarted and no problem. The second time was just now when it did this crap.

edit: Also it hasn't crashed while I've been actually playing, both times it was when I went to start a mission :|

edit2: ALSO I don't even know if there are any glitches in the Hitman 2 missions, since I've been playing the Hitman 1 content (I started it a few days ago without realizing that I could just get Hitman 2 and play it all at once together).

Game crashed starting a mission.

Go to Steam to relaunch it, it says the game is still running.
Open the Task Manager, the game process isn't there.
Go to close Steam, Steam says it has to wait for Hitman 2 to close.
Go to the Task Manager to close Steam, nothing happens.

My computer literally just froze up entirely as I was typing this. JFC.

Modern country is pretty much identity politics in music form.

Its over produced, feels fake and its overly repetitive: pickup truck this, good old boy that, drinking this, whisky that, rural this, love with good old girl that, cowboy hat and twang.

For the record, hip hop/rap is pretty much the other side of the coin, but at least it doesnt sound like shit and its more diverse, you got the likes of Eminem, the other white dude who did a diss track on Eminem, you got Macklemore, etc. You can go to a hip hop concert and see a bunch of basic white girls having fun. Go to a country concert and see how many black dudes you see there and how many of those make it out unharmed

This is again a super gross generalization of *pop* country music and maybe concerts in certain parts of the country :\

You can find a decent non-mainstream country musician and go to normal concerts without a bunch of Confederate flag denim jacket wearing mullet heads.

I think most peoples' impression of country music is based on the heavily commercialized stuff that all really does sound the same and has shallow lyrics.

But there's a lot of really great country out there, both classic and contemporary, that people just don't take the time to explore.

I liked 1 for the short levels and interesting deaths.
I liked 2 because it was semi-open world (small maps but still had freedom of movement) and there were interesting ways to interact with the world.

3 is really poorly optimized, AND they took the story focus from the original game and slapped it into a town that's way too big, which means you wind up spending a lot of time running around from place to place engaging in pointless dialogue with little to no action / entertainment. And it's kinda glitchy, like I can't advance because the dialogue in this one area just keeps looping.
