Not gettin' a super 90s vibe. I guess there's the music but I mean they made a really big deal out of Wonderwall which is still a rather popular song. And they just had a scene where they hamfisted a couple hip slang terms but it was in the context of the parents just talking about how hard it is to understand their kids, not... the kids actually using the phrases.

Don't know how to feel about this show so far, seems kinda slow.

To the second question, I'd say that's personal preference. I really hate working out within a couple hours of eating so I always did it before dinner. Helps build up an appetite. I suppose you could have a small snack beforehand but otherwise just staying hydrated is enough.

Where were the Muslims and Asians in Red Dead Redemption? It's well documented that a lot of Asians came over during the gold rush and there's no doubt that at least some people worshipped Islam even in the US. Why weren't there any representation there? You seem to be mixing up the arguments presented in the response. One argument was that poc (not just black people) were depicted in art.
Another was that demographics that would have contained a lot of poc (Mongols, Turks, Greek, etc) lived there at the time. So two different pieces of evidence support the same conclusion.
And finally - they actually provide sources and which pages to look at and you dismiss them because they're too long? Lmao

Just because POC people were depicted in art does not automatically mean that those ethnicities comprised a large percentage of the population of the time, especially not in the area of the region where the game takes place. This proves the literal sense of "there were POC there", but it does nothing to actually illustrate just how much of the population were non-Slavs. There could have literally been five Black people in the area that happened to stand out and do some really amazing things and get painted, that doesn't mean that suddenly 15th century Bohemia looked like modern day London.

From what I saw, the link in that person's post was just to a book in general, not to specific pages.

I'm definitely not arguing that they're wrong that historically different ethnic groups live in that region in that time period. I'm just saying they are potentially overblowing the demographic composition for where the game takes place.

Fox News intentionally invites guests on just to mock them and shut them out. I remember watching one segment where they had invited a few guests to talk, in turn, about events in Israel.
I don't even remember who the first guest was. The second guest was pro-Hezbollah but his whole argument was "If people want to resolve the issues in Israel we have to include all parties including the Palestinians; it's not going to work if we exclude them from negotiations", and the host afterwards literally just spent the next five minutes berating him and calling him a terrorist.
Then the final guest was some ultra conservative guy that basically just said Israel needs to nuke Hezbollah and Iran and of course they let him talk and treated him with respect.

Bethesda just fills a niche that no other company really tries to approach. If they had any legitimate competition, their games would be considered rather bland and uninspired by comparison. Heck, the writing in Skyrim and Fallout 4 WAS really bland and uninspired, and the gameplay certainly got streamlined significantly from earlier entries in their respective series.
