Hexenherz 09/13/17 11:35:23 PM #11 | I knew a girl who claimed that peanuts would rest in your intestines for decades and she wound up doing almost daily enemas to flush them and other toxins out of her system. |
Topic | I really hate Sarah Paulsons character in AHS cult |
Hexenherz 09/12/17 10:14:42 PM #18 | I totally even forgot AHS was a thing. I was so disappointed in the last season. |
Topic | Does this work on Amazon? |
Hexenherz 09/12/17 6:49:21 PM #5 | Unless it's changed recently, they used to automatically split up packages that would be shipped at separate times and charge you accordingly for each one. So... I don't think this would work. |
Topic | How will they save Deus Ex now? |
Hexenherz 09/10/17 7:54:35 AM #9 | It's a bit of a stretch to say that the gameplay in MD was reminiscent of that which was seen in the original Deus Ex game. And regardless, gameplay was only one of the equally important pillars that hold MD up against the test of time. |

Topic | How will they save Deus Ex now? |
Hexenherz 09/10/17 7:49:51 AM #6 | But the gameplay is not "easily replicable", and having more sequels would hurt the series' name moreso than help the gaming industry in some manner. |
Topic | Sims 3 be all like, |
Hexenherz 09/10/17 7:48:55 AM #9 | I didn't play enough of Sims 4 to test this, but it seems to me that the whole series requires far too much micromanagement to make it interesting as an independent simulator of human behavior. The games are fun from a sandboxy perspective but... sometimes I just want to make a family and let the game do its thing and see what happens after a few hours or days. |

Hexenherz 09/10/17 7:45:17 AM #4 | I kind of hope they don't "save" Deus Ex. It's like Star Wars, or Ghostbusters, or anything classic that modern audiences don't understand. We have two good games in the series, now it's time to move on. |

Topic | What is the greatest journey ever in a video game? |
Hexenherz 09/10/17 1:14:51 AM #8 | GTA San Andreas... You start off as a nobody gang banger riding bicycles to fast food restaurants and by the end you're running a casino, pulling off elaborate heists and even doing an aerial assault on a Hollywood mansion. All this spread across a ridiculously detailed rendering of three major cities on the west coast. |
Topic | If a white person was born in Africa, then gains citizenship in America... |

Topic | British Muslims feel held back and that Britain is an 'islamophobic' country. |
Hexenherz 09/08/17 3:15:27 PM #70 | I don't even understand the relevancy of that last statistic; there are a million reasons why 20% of a certain group would not have entered the home of a different demographic. |
Topic | How limit breaks work in FF8 was stupid as fuck |
Hexenherz 09/08/17 3:14:07 PM #4 | Regrettably all the gameplay in that game was stupid. Maybe I just didn't get it, but when I played it in middle school and didn't check the internet for everything, I didn't know that leveling up made the game more difficult - that was counter to every other game that had come out before it and most games that have come since. |
Topic | British Muslims feel held back and that Britain is an 'islamophobic' country. |
Hexenherz 09/08/17 3:11:19 PM #65 | Japan and South Korea have had extremely strong relations with extremely strong nations in almost every sphere possible. Other countries have not enjoyed such partnerships. It's, again, an entirely false equivalence. And in the context of entire countries, I would not blame a religious group for whatever situation they're in - religion there is a means to a goal, not the goal itself. |

Hexenherz 09/08/17 3:10:08 PM #4 | I did just look at a recent projection of its path and it's kind of interesting to see it heading northwesterly through all of Florida... that's not common is it? (I normally don't look that hard into these things >_>). |

Hexenherz 09/08/17 2:51:32 PM #39 | s0nicfan posted... What ELSE do British Muslims feel? Let's find out! In 2013, 14% of Americans believed that Jews have too much power in America; 19% say they have too much power in the business world; 26% believe that Jews were responsible for the death of Christ; 18% that Jews have too much influence on the news Media, and 24% believe that Jews pretty much run the movie and television industries. In a 2017 Gallup poll, 23% of Americans believed homosexual relations should be illegal. I'm doubtful about the questions regarding sympathy towards suicide bombers - that's a very ambiguous question and very open to interpretation, just like most poll questions. |

Hexenherz 09/08/17 2:38:25 PM #8 | unpleasant_milk posted... https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/sep/08/british-muslims-islamophobic-country-jobs That's not really a fair statement. The majority of Muslims in the country are trying to live a normal life there. They're literally not all terrorists and the majority of them don't condone terrorist attacks in countries that have taken them in. Also I don't know how it is in UK, but having followed French politics on and off for more than the last decade, it's obvious that some European countries have institutionalized islamophobic policies and it's really difficult for any demographic to prosper under such restrictions. |
Topic | If you dislike other countries cultures how do you word that? |
Hexenherz 09/08/17 2:33:06 PM #9 | No one says it's wrong or right to have opinions about other cultures, specifically. It's how you express your opinion in words and actions that people might have an issue with. |
Topic | Fuck my motion sickness. Star Tours at Disney World almost fucked me up. |
Hexenherz 09/07/17 8:33:19 PM #15 | I've been on dozens of rides and never had motion sickness except for one... It was at Prater in Vienna, they had one of those twirling rides that looks kind of like an octopus with arms. The whole thing rotated, plus there were like three gondolas attached to the end of each arm and the point where it attached rotated, plus each individual gondola rotated. And it went upside down and really friggin' fast. Got so sick off of that thing that I had to sit for like half an hour, and then I decided to just take the train back to where I was staying and I had to get off the train a couple times to sit down because of how ridiculous it was. ALSO just thinking about that reminded me of that Mission: Space ride at Disney World... almost passed out on that one >_>. |

Spent 2 nights in jail in my life and would rather never go back. False. Several cop cars might show up just for the hell of it, like Chromatic said. I was riding with my friend and he made an illegal left turn out of a parking lot (neither of us saw the sign, and I think they even later took it down). Three cop cars rolled up. Just to give us a warning about making an illegal left turn. |
