This is the impression I get. Personally, I don't think it's got many games that seem that good, between the 1st and 3rd party titles. Not quite sure what's happening, though. The 360 is one of my favourite consoles of all time. It was like a deluge of games, and many of them were great.

If feels like the XBone is what you buy if a. you're a casual gamer, b. like certain popular franchises, and c. want to play online a lot. Which I'm fine with, but I tick maybe 1 of those 3 boxes (the popular franchises part, and not that much).

Eh, you need either it or the PS4 for the major console games. Doesn't hugely matter which unless you're really heavily into certain genres that do better on one rather than the other.

Most of my Xbox fanboy friends, while getting really defensive if you don't call them a hardcore gamer, are actually pretty fucking casual overall.

They tend to just either play one thing, or play everything popular but only for a week or two.

Meanwhile, most people I know who buy PS4 just seemed obsessed with Japan and Sony games.

Not true. The two Halo games released for it aren't available on PC. The next one will be though.

Not true. The two Halo games released for it aren't available on PC. The next one will be though.

I never said it was. But I had to get Halo, so I got a Xbox. Now that potentially all future Halo games will be on PC, I won't have to buy the next Xbox.

and
C. Don't care to get a gaming PC.

Xbox One X is the most powerful console available though. They even upgrade some of the backwards compatible games for it.
