The main series is more likely to switch to a new continent and start over on that one instead of spending six more games exploring the remaining provinces. I know people are hopeful, but it's just plain unlikely that most of the remaining provinces would be able to carry their own game primeape. Did people expect Skyrim to carry its weight? It's a bunch of snow and brown but people still ate it up. A new continent would require all new lore and shit, which would mean that Todd wouldn't be able to recycle books a third time. --- |

This game is at best semi-canon from what I understand and takes plus hundreds and hundreds of years before I think even Oblivion or Morrowind. Not to mention how fast and loose they played with Cyrodiil in Oblivion. The stuff Zenimax is putting out here will have a pretty negligible impact on TES when they finally get around to a sixth game. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Zenimax is barring a 6th TES because ESO is profitable --- |

There's two FLUDD-less acapella levels, those are okay I guess. But then there's the level where you go through all the hotel rooms to get fruit for yoshi then go up again and kill the stupid fucking ghosts all for one shine. Going through that again for 8 red coins. Another level that's just a timer on you as you clean goop. King Boo. And chasing Shadow Mario. Pretty bad selection all in all. But the worst level I've played so far is without a doubt this fucking fire goop volcano shit. The mayor is trapped and FLUDD is stolen from Mario. So you have to run around this hell island, ground pound the one hole that can get you to the mayor, do a bunch of convoluted and unclear movements with poor camera issues that obscure your jumps until finally you come back on top and get FLUDD. It's just not fun. It's pulling teeth. Gotta give props to Galaxy, 120 stars and I never felt truly lost or frustrated. --- |

| Doe 05/28/18 12:52:35 PM #10 | My personal experience with ESO is that it is kind of fun as far as if you enjoy the class you chose (I played as a Dragonknight or something and they can pull people in with a chain power and stuff) but it is not a TES game. The game isn't really about existing in the world. I was also very new to MMOs and people were very belligerent if you wanted to do a dungeon with them but weren't like knowledgeable about every facet of the game and strategy. I guess that's anecdotal though and it's been a long time. By long I mean I bought and played the game when it first came out. It's kind of fun hanging out in the big towns and watching other people (you can do emotes using the world chat like conjure a chair to sit down in) but the guild system was a complete mess. Absolute mop. Just like 400 people in a side chat screaming text and one person trying to trade or dungeon or whatever. I get a little nostalgic thinking about it. It was certainly a unique experience for me. Daggerfall covenant is the coolest area though despite appearing to be the lamest place to explore because of the big towns and stuff imo. --- |

| Doe 05/28/18 12:49:48 PM #7 | I didn't get any serious bugs in my own experience, the biggest issue is getting it to run acceptably since a lot of tinkering is needed. Weird stuff goes in with the game's settings. Like if you set textures or details or something too low then it bars some of your videocard actually making it run worse than if you put them higher. Lots of weird little things like that. I guess I'd check forums to see if the game's made more progress there. --- |
