He shouldn't say "indeed" when the actual text is "nothing out that way." It's repetitive and creates dissonance between what you're trying to read and what they say out loud. --- |

If there's anything I can say, it's that they already had quite a bar to hop when they put Infinity War out. So Part 2 will have to be seriously something. It's bizarre. I mean the world has pretty much ended; on Earth, global infrastructure will be on the verge of collapse due to the disappearance of political leaders, skilled and labor work force, parents, etc. Literally ever city in the world will be completely crippled by the car crashes. The result of this movie is on a completely other level than A1 or Man of Steel (I know it's DC just saying). Even if they reverse all the deaths, the people that were left over will have suffered massively due to the infrastructure collapse. --- |

It simulatenously relieves them from dealing with how crazily OP Dr. Strange was in Ragnarok and his movie and writes off contrived shit as "just how it gotta be!" like Thanos gaining the Time Stone and not worrying about a dead man switch or whatever. There's a lot of shit you expect them to at least try but they never do. Like they never portal Thanos into the sun or something. You can say he could Space Stone back. Polk's alright he got a ton of land from Mexico IIRC Grant was a good guy but his cabinet was plagued by scandal, corruption, and nepotism (Grantism was a term used at the time). His administration liked to contract currency so when a chain collapse of banks caused a depression, it was way worse due to the interest rates he caused. He also incorporated more military procedure into his regime than people liked, he would go over the heads of his cabinet to do shit like try to annex the Dominican Republic. Now that I think about it he is perhaps comparable to Trump lol --- |
