I believe people are inherently bad and must put in a lot of effort to be good. But that's really really watering it down.

I guess a better way to put it is that people are inherently selfish and thinking/acting selflessly is one of the hardest things for a person to do, if it's not entirely impossible.

This is pretty much why I appreciate roguelikes. No pressure to make progress when you're likely to lose it all anyway. Something like Risk of Rain 2 is a great way to kill an hour or two with no stress.

No new cases doesn't mean no new infections, it just means people aren't getting tested.

I know in my area the people currently being hit the hardest are people who can't afford to take off work to go get tested, let alone quarantine for two weeks if they come back positive. People are just dealing with it.

Maybe? My yard is full of trees. Only real problem I had was chunks of it dying due to poor water drainage when I first started putting it down. It grew naturally in the one corner near where my compost pile is and I just added to it basically.

I replaced all of the grass in my back yard with Irish moss. No mowing, pretty much always green, and it blooms thousands upon thousands of tiny white flowers in the spring and summer. Took years to get it to spread and stay healthy though. I'd do my front yard too but the fucking HOA blah blah blah.
