Oooook, here we go... The story goes that we used to live on Mars, and it used to have a large moon like the Earth does. At some point it was blown up during a war leading to the creation of one or both of its current smaller moons, and the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Because that fucked the tides on Mars the planet started to die. We set up the fake moon around Earth, seeded the planet with our DNA, and eventually everyone on Mars died. Flash forward a few tens of millions of years and modern man evolves, the ancestors of Martians. Of course, there's the other flat earth theory that god did it, and all the other celestial bodies we see are like window clings he stuck onto the firmament. --- o7 Let strength be granted so the world might be mended. |

My childhood friend's father was an attorney, a very good one. One day a guy that he helped put in jail gathered a couple of his friends, broke into their house, and raped/murdered his wife right in front of him and my friend. I found out when i was younger that on the n64 version, you could go through the entire game not upgrading your pod racer, and everyone else would have un-upgraded racers as well, and it'd be the same difficulty wise throughout the whole thing, is that still a thing here? Yes, that's the only way to make enough money for the "best upgrades" trophy. You set all your races to Winner Takes All so that the other racers don't have the truguts to upgrade anything. Go through all the races without upgrading anything on your pod. Then once you've finished the game you switch racers back and forth so the Junkyard refreshes and buy all your upgrade parts. To make the game interesting you keep the winnings on the default setting so the other pod racers can upgrade alongside you. --- o7 Let strength be granted so the world might be mended. |

I bought an N64 a number of years ago to play this game specifically, and it's the only Nintendo console I own.
