The amount of times you shoot one guy then you are stuck in an unskippable cut scene, then you shoot a few more, then cutscene. Cutscene cutscene cutscene. It is the worst excesses of cinematic in the industry. the reason is pretty simple and the type of obnoxious design that only rockstar is capable of. i discovered a mod that finally lets you skip the godawful amount of cutscenes and i think i finished the game in about 4~ hours on hard with a fair amount of deaths. --- |

Once i got the consistency down and made it a regular part of my lifestyle, i enjoy it as much as other hobbies and i get cranky if i miss/unwillingly skip a day. the best i can explain is that the more you get into it, the greedier you become and itll make you skip out on junk in fear of losing gains but also wont make you feel bad about yourself if you choose to really indulge once in a while --- |

| AsucaHayashi 07/25/21 4:14:18 AM #59 | i realized this one is actually easier to answer than i thought after watching a couple of pro fighters fumbling around with unfamiliar characters for a "random select" tournament. it's because they don't know how to properly play fighters as if they think they're supposed to learn the whole cast in order to play the game. in reality you're supposed to pick ONE single character and then learn the entire game from their point of view, eg. the character's good moves like pokes and punishes/bnb combos/good and bad match ups/learn how to block, counter and punish other characters etc.. then when you've become decent you can pick a sub character or jump over to another main and start over. makes total sense when i think about the main the reason beginners play fighters wrong is maybe because they have a sunk cost fallacy mentality like "if i don't touch every character then i won't feel like i've got my money's worth with this game". --- |
