No.

His ambition to control the flow instead of overseeing it & a need for spontaneity will drive him to ruin.

assuming you mean the Abrahamic one... no

maybe all knowing (and maybe just very well informed), but it's through technology. very powerful, but definitely not all powerful. and again, not inherent power, but tech superiority.

he was just the "benevolent" version apparently. guess we'll see how the bad versions turn out.

also, he's a scientist but doesn't explain how he had magical teleport powers even if we disregard him having the ability to control time ("up to a point" but not beyond which doesn't make sense either).

Yeah, Nathaniel Richards' intelligence and access to technology are his strengths.

He Who Remains is essentially "a guy who got there first". Nothing godly about him. He's straight up human, just a time-displaced human, and thus really old.

Also calling him "Kang the Conqueror" (Nathaniel Richards) is inaccurate. He's closer to the Nathaniel Richards variant who calls himself "Immortus", who seeks to protect the timeline from his conquering variants, of which Kang is one of them.

There is also a separate character called "He Who Remains" in the comics. This guy is the guy behind the comics TVA.

So in that way, MCU HWR is a combination of the two.

There's nothing magical. Like that Issac Asimov quote.

It's a man from the future using future tech while having worked together with an infinite amount of himself. He's just Tony Stark in the future.

The one who remains - is a Kang variant. He was pruning the timelines to prevent any more Kang variants from emerging and conquering the timeline. He was successful till the end of time, hence why he knew everything.

We are getting Kang the Conqueror as the bad guy in S2.

Not in S2 probably, the variants are going to be movie problem.

Other way around. Immortus was the "good" one.

Yup. Basically killing Immortus "releases" Kang, or at least allows alternate timelines to form where Kang is allowed to exist.

Also in the comics Ravonna Renslayer (the judge of the MCU TVA) is Kang's wife.

"The Sacred Timeline" is basically a timeline where Kang isn't allowed to exist, and nothing more. In that regard, Loki, Ultron, Ronan, Ego, Thanos, etc. are all comparatively unimportant.

not quite. different timelines get different variants, and they can be quite different (as we clearly saw with all the Loki variants.) this variant exists in place of a Kang from his (our familiar MCU?) timeline. other timelines have variants who work together with each other. other timelines have variants that become a Kang and attack each other, as well as their more peaceful counterparts. eventually, one of these Kangs wins, and becomes the Conqueror.

the variant we just saw found a different way to "win". isolate a timeline completely. but that took constant effort to maintain, and once that effort stopped, shit hit the fan immediately.

They end the season with a giant statue of a Kang variant so it's pretty safe to say he'll be in Season 2, as well.
