The show never took itself serious. there were some pretty serious episodes where they delve into real issues. maybe the writers consulted actual psychiatrists for them. off the top of my head there's "frasier's edge" where he wins a lifetime achievement award but feels empty inside, and then the episode about martin having to go to the parole hearing of the guy who shot him, also one i really can't forget is where they dive into the history of niles and daphne and why he keeps putting her up on a pedestal etc. --- |
