Have you not played Baldur's Gate 3 yet? I skipped it last year but tried it out and it's addictive. I'm not even normally into fantasy stuff.

Ground Zeroes is such an embarrassment. Literally the moment Konami decided it was OK to charge for the tanker mission. I'll never understand the weird fanboy worship it gets.

It's good, but after attempting to replay it and feeling nothing through the first 3 hours I realize I am part of the guilty party that overrated it for years.

Shadowrun. Idk if you'll be able to tolerate how dated it is given we have Baldur's Gate 3 now, or even the Harebrain Studio Shadowrun series, but at the time it was mind blowing.

I think TC is being too literal. The way I feel is that I think it's annoying the contrived way that licensed music is used to appeal to us using nostalgia to instantly like a scene. But unless TC just plays his video games on mute, or ignores anime and reads manga because he finds the soundtracks bothersome I doubt he really hates all music. It undeniably adds emotional weight to cinema and other media.

I am also not a fan at all of the action montages that have some random song from the 90's in GotG movies, and those are some of the best Marvel movies IMO. I don't talk about it though because people will look at me like I dropped a slur or something.

Unless it's like GTA where they make screwing around funny because the average person is deplorable or brainless, I have a really hard time getting into evil runs.

A lot of the time it runs against the base narrative of the game and just seems contrived. I'm finally playing through BG3 and I don't have an especially strong inclination to play evil, or even if I do I'll probably play evil pretending to be good ala Light Yagami type character than an outright bastard aka Dio Brando.

This is also why I never played Dishonored. My understanding is that the good ending is locked behind non lethal play style, but all the fun powers are in a lethal play style...but it locks you into a bad ending for doing that.

I just hope I have CE. God help me if I can't browse GFAQs in hospice.

Whatever is happening, it's not worse than the general shift in personalities that has cumulated over the last few years. You guys need to get over it and talk about things that make the site interesting, not just doom post about how you won't be able to post here by retirement age.

Worst case scenario you have to find something else to do with your time.

All we got was the announcement, practically a year ago. Nothing more yet, not a trailer, not a release date. Not nothing. Wtf is going on with it? Some of us care about the Clock Tower franchise and want to support it so that PS1 Clock Tower gets a remake.

It's not the worst one, but the ones that follow it are all so bad that I understand why you would want to pretend they didn't make anymore after it.

They aren't allowed to and could lose their license to practice moderation law if they get caught, but it's extremely difficult to prove a mod was intoxicated when they moderated you.

I rock climb and train Jiu-Jitsu. I don't know what that link says, but I'm drenched in sweat on a daily basis from juggling hobbies. I don't sleep in a film of my own sweat because that's disgusting.

You know, the Twitch Steamer that is super popular?

I'm a big fan of his. I think it's fun watching him play games he enjoys and he has a good perspective on what makes games fun. I like watching his survival horror streams the most. He's super positive and fun to keep on as background noise.

I do tend to get annoyed with his massive in depth conspiracy theories about FFVII. Like spending 2 hours trying to figure out if the map is going to be the same on Rebirth from the foreground, or all the nonsense with the ending of Rebirth, but hey nobody is perfect.

He even has a fun crew of friends, although Simmons is insufferably negative and ironically reminds me of a message board poster that lacks any self awareness.

Overall a quality content creator though. I just need to remind myself that these guys get paid to game for a living so they can afford to chase every new title on the horizon. Sometimes I feel like they're into too many games and it compels me to buy stuff I'm not truly interested in, but short of that good entertainers.

I had a friend who insisted that I was missing out by snoozing on Diablo and kept urging me to buy it. He's real quiet about Diablo now.

John Wick 4 pushed me. There were things I liked about that movie, but the zany cartoon character punishment he was taking was wearing on my patience and I absolutely did not like Donnie Yen's character. He felt like he belonged in a parody movie.

Also typically Marvel stuff with Black Widow doesn't bother me. In the comics she's enhanced through some means, so I just don't think of her as a normal human, although I guess she's just highly trained in MCU.

If you put food in front of people, they are going to eat it. That doesn't change that it's a juvenile and meaningless "reward" that benefits the company more anyways since it usually gets people to work through their lunch.

London IMO is one of the most fun big cities. I enjoyed my time in London way more than NYC.

Yeah, you might as well. IMO it's a better game with a little bit better story and it takes place first chronologically.

Check out some of the Grant Morrison Justice League.

The Return of Barry Allen is a really good classic Flash story. Just get the one by Mark Waid. Idk anything about the Geoff Johns story under the same title.

It's a legit fun game. It reminds me of BoF's town system in 2 and 3, only the whole game is that. Terranigma is also good, and Illusion of Gaia is the spiritual successor which is my favorite of the three.

It has its uses. It's not a substitute for putting effort in to improve your situation though.

No. It crossed several lines to where I NEEDED to buy another system in order to fulfill my needs as a gamer. Previously, I was fine without Sega consoles.

Also it's an unpopular opinion, but I play through the Last of Us 2 at least once a year. Best stealth in a game since Snake Eater.

For some reason I hated Mario 64 as a kid and remember being blown away by Galaxy.

Galaxy is still great, but when I tried to replay it my interest just kind of fizzled out. Maybe because Odyssey upstaged it and was a natural evolution with M64 like open worlds?

And then when I replayed Mario 64 with that collection I'm talking about, I loved it. I knew the mechanics and my muscle memory didn't go away, so short of a few annoying parts like slide obstacles or flying, I would cruise through the game. It's pretty fun and well made for being the first of its kind.

Still haven't played Sunshine.

I just wish that collection had Galaxy 2. I never did get to play it.

That's like the only movie he was ever in too. He's so oblivious that his entire success was due to the talents of Larry David and not himself.

I never eat that crap. Frozen pizza I get from sprouts is better than fast food pizza. If I'm getting pizza from a restaurant it's a nice place.

Secret of Mana was my first RPG, but I was never able to replay it because the story is very "baby's first JRPG".

Then I played FFIV, which aged better but is still very basic.

These days I even find FFVI shallow, but it was revolutionary at the time and made me love the games.

By PS1 era we had the good stuff. Suikoden 2, Xenogears, FFVII, BoF 3. Who wouldn't love the genre then?

Unfortunately, it did not really get any better than that.

If you're finding it's helping you then that's great but you should be aware that weed is a depressant.

How the hell has NO ONE mentioned the Wind Waker preorder? Far as I know, that was the only way to get the OoT + OoT Master Quest disc! At least that's how it went here in Canada.

Mortgage Underwriters are dropping like flies due to the industry being generally bad.

I worked from home getting 6 figured for the last 4 years. Was pretty nice. On the bright side my severance lasts until June, but with the market the way it is IDK what kind of job I'll have when I re-enter the work force sometime next year.

IDK, I hope it's good I guess. I've got my hands full, still playing GOAT games that came out last year (BG3) and gotta learn Tekken. I might play No Rest for the Wicked, but SB, while on my radar is not super high priority.
