For some reason I never watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture until a few years ago. I really liked it. Sure, the beauty shots of The Enterprise are over done, but I can picture myself sitting in a movie theater in 1979 and being amazed at it. Plus I can just fast forward. It's the closest of any of the movies to the TV show. It really feels like a bigger budgeted and better written episode of the show. It's not action packed like the rest of the movies, but it didn't need to be. I think they only fire the ship's phasers or photon torpedoes once if I recall. I really like the "twist" as well. Too many people overlook it, especially those with the silly opinion that the odd numbered movies suck.

This twitter account is no different than any other conservative, sadly. They all excuse murder as long as if it's the "right" people murdering the "right" people.

I didn't say people couldn't like the song. It's just my opinion that it sucks. That's how opinions work. Plus it's not much different at all from all the other songs Nickleback does that, so it's funny when people put that song on a pedestal while saying all their latter stuff sucks.

It's always funny when some say that song is from when Nickleback was good. That song was always lame and sucked.

I never saw it because I knew at the time it wasn't much like the game. On top of several changes, it seems like they made a minor character in the game the main villain.

The game's story wasn't exactly super deep or unique or anything, but it would have made for a fine action movie.

Protesting against antisemitism and showing support for the hostages to be freed is fine. It's still hard not to roll my eyes at it because I imagine most of it is just pure Israel fanboyism done by people who are fine with innocent Palestinians being murdered.

Batman TAS was for kids too, but it's awesome. It also had a beautiful art style. This seems like for toddlers or something. I also question why a lot of cartoons look so ugly and gross. Even Ren and Stimpy was off putting as a kid. Do kids nowadays like this sort of style?

AI is great for smut, that's for damn sure. It's think when it gets better, it will be great for creative people who don't have the artistic abilities to draw/paint/whatever. It's art, but computer generated art.

As someone who's around lots of home redecorations and renovations, I hate the gray and white fad too. Sometimes it works, but it's so sterile and lifeless most of the time.

I mean, if I was back during those times and heard that noise while out in the woods, I'd probably shit myself. Sounds like something out of a horror movie.

Never underestimate the stupidity and apathy of the average American nor Democrats' ability to fuck it all up and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I think it can go either way at the moment, but we'll see what happens next year.

Honestly, I believe he's fine with the both sides angle. He at least comes off as being genuine with his criticism of "both sides".
I just find it funny how Bill is allowed to say the most ridiculous, outrageous shit on his podcast (which I love), but Nia so much as do it, or even challenges him on something even, and some of his microwaved brain fans starts foaming at the mouth about how she's being "disrespectful" and antagonizing her.

True, but sometimes I feel he was trying to deflect at times with it. To be fair, I haven't listened in a while. I go through these phases with his podcast where I'll listen to him, get tired of it and go on a break for a while, then come back and listen again.

And you're totally right about Nia. Some of the best moments are her and Bill going at it over something, but some can't handle it.

It's a shame this alone isn't enough to both convince those in government and citizens how bad things are. Honestly I don't have much faith in either willing to put a stop to it if Republicans do take over though.

Conservatives worship a rich guy who lives in a golden tower and sees them all as marks to take money from. A man who cheated on his pregnant wife with a porn star, has insulted and disrespected the troops, a man who has had several failed businesses. He showed how openly racist, hateful, and childish they can be though so that cancels out everything else.

And they wonder why everyone else thinks they're stupid AF and evil.

Least favorite is the obligatory fight and split in a buddy comedy movie. They have the big fight and are apart for a segment of the movie until they reunite. Dumb and Dumber did it best because it only lasted a minute.

It's similar to the couple breakup. One of them, mostly the guy, gets caught in a compromising situation that's usually out of his control like another woman aggressively coming into him, and his SO sees it and walks out. They guy goes "No, ____ wait! I can explain!", but the lady just leaves. It's very tired.

That and "as you know" followed by a forced exposition.

Moderation and knowing your limits are key and staying away from certain ones entirely. Not that I recommend drugs, but if one is going to do them, they need to know those things.

Food addiction is legit and not enough people talk about it in a serious way.

I know mine doesn't and I tried redoing it long ago, but it didn't work. Didn't go further because I figured nobody sees them anymore anyway. I do kinda miss my caffeinated Bobby Hill though. My favorite fan theory is that he just plays dumb and is actually very smart and orchestrated things in a machiavellian way to his benefit. By the end, during the sit down meet with Tony, Paulie, Butchie, Albie, and Little Carmine, Butch looks to Carmine as if looking for an answer to say.

It's obviously not true, but I want it to be for fun and might be my head canon now. Still, you're right that he is the smartest of the bunch and decides to bow out early.
