Think of the nature of the ideologies. One promotes the best outcome for the society the other promotes the best outcome for the best individuals. I dont want to be around 500 people who are narcissistic enough to think they deserve way more of societies resources because they are better than everyone else.

Are they actually socialists, what Americans call socialists, or tankies? Very different groups of people. I mean libertarian is a similar thing as well, is it what Europeans call a classical liberal, is it an embarrassed American right winger, or is it an anarcho-capitalist?

I would prefer 500 libertarian socialists if that's an option.

Unless youre part of the owner class where other people make your money in return for peanuts, socialists dont want to take anything from you.

And if you are part of the owner class where other people make your money in return for peanuts, then youre part of the corporations report record profits in the middle of a cost of living crisis problem and frankly deserve to have your stuff taken from you.

In the short term libertarians but long term socialists. With enough societal stress libertarians turn into socialists anyway, and then after they govern they realize they screwed things up and try fixing their s***, hopefully for the better. So might as well speed up the process.
