I'll be looking out for that. There's also a weaver(?) of sorts nearby

Yup. False Widow.

Fun fact: You can relatively safely handle real Black Widows. Its only when you bug them nearly to death that they bite.
Cool. Not sure if I should remove it? I was reading they're invasive, but I'm guessing if it's already here, that might not really do anything at this point?

OEM navigation is generally looking to be phased out for most brands in favor of CarPlay/Auto

Depending on what your local environment is like, some trips are predominantly EV mode with a hybrid. For sure that's still a far cry from total EV/no gas used, but like, I can sometimes navigate between two nearby locations on just EV alone, and I don't even have a plug in (CR-V hybrid)

I've had Mazda and Honda's most recent navigation packages and they were forgettable.

Cycling would cater more to cadence work and leg strength. One thing is if you were to exercise beyond your anaerobic threshold, maybe a bike is a bit safer.

How ever impact will never match running, to the point I'd say do both. Some people need to do cycling because they need to limit impact due to already damaged/weak joints.

Of course we kinda wanted to make a point that our class could one-up the class before us. The bar was set low because of a planning disaster they had, but we still wanted to make sure we'd have nothing close to that.

Senior prom therefore was pretty cool. Date plans fell under but I mean everyone was there to see everyone.

Some people just aren't about that life anymore. As it is for myself, I don't really play much. Of course, there are people here who probably started when they were adults in the 90s and are literally grandparents or passed at this point. Some probably don't attach themselves to the internet all that much.

Also, dedicated forums have become more prominent and are perhaps a stronger resource at this point since online gaming involves more detailed coordination for events sometimes. That, and sometimes the FAQs are more like full blown wikis at this point.

GameFAQs was prime when times were simpler. It is a double edged sword, because the simplicity of this site is arguably what still makes it better than most other forums. Like we wouldn't want to be flooded with media and overkill graphics. As it is, the presence of ads to start is very below our standards.

Basically running lower grade fuel in a car that is recommended higher (only if stated allowed by the manufacturer) will just rely on how reliable the computer itself is with adjusting mixture and timing. I've never heard of it being an issue/failing, but my thinking is wtf would I buy such a car for if I won't commit to then fuel it should ideally take?

Like when I got a CX-5 Turbo over a standard. Why pay for that if I'm just going to put in fuel that detunes it like a loser?

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but a gym membership is out of the question?

I am actually more of an advocate for an indoor bike because you can structure your workouts better. I say that ironically, as formerly being into cycling I couldn't stand indoors and how the resistance pattern and fit largely differed. Performance on-road was a more critical focus so I was more protective of not screwing that up.

But when it's in the context of starting on a blank slate, I would go towards indoor. You can exploit limits and not have to deal with uncontrollable grade changes, hazards, or reaching the point of cramping or collapsing on a moving bike. On a stationary bike, you just stay up and can abruptly stop as you please.

Imo I think there's more weight on the employer as opposed to the applicant on handling that one.

Fair to ask
But it's not supposed to be a "let's see what they come up with".

I mean maybe I'm just speaking for myself, but I'd just want the honest answer vs looking for one to consider validated, and then just get constructive with other questions that follow after.

If you told me you left your previous employer on poor terms, you'd have the floor to articulate it (if allowed to). Apart from nothing crazy like "I threatened to shoot up the place", I'd probably be more focused on how you navigate that conversation.

Unfortunately I haven't dug too deep into how far he got. My understanding, though, is it wasn't necessarily planned too far in advance

Kidney failure kinda hanging on at his job with no intentions to quit for a few months then got let go, and at that point he decided to retire and only then looked at applying since his employer's coverage was due to end. 62 years old at that point.

So far it seems there's someone at the local SSA office he's in touch with, and then someone at the Dialysis center. I'm not sure how closely involved the Dialysis center rep is with Medicare.

He did try calling in and supposedly got a bit of a runaround, being told to apply for something else or re-apply. When he ran it by the SSA rep, he was told that would be a backwards thing to do and would theoretically put him at the back of the line.

My uncle's been stuck under "processing" since June/July last year. SS office says they can't do a thing about it. They can't even pry out if he was rejected or missing something on his application.

I don't think I'd jump to trashing the handlers because I'm sure they're slammed in work, but I don't get how they expect anyone to wait on out on it this long, especially when they...need it. Someone's going to have to cover his dialysis treatments at some point out of pocket, and feeling out those costs, that's incredibly unsustainable for most people.
